What's your ultimate 'comforting hug' film?

I've got a mild hangover after Christmas drinks last night, DH has his works Christmas do tonight and I cannot wait just to snuggle on the sofa in my PJ's with a pizza once DS is in bed.

I want to watch an old familiar film which I've seen before, which I don't have to concentrate on and which will sooth my achy post hangover body.

What is your top re-watch film for situations like this? My brain is too frazzled to think!!

It’s not a Christmas film, but Roman Holiday is wonderful!

Otherwise, It’s a Wonderful Life is my favourite Christmas film.

The Wedding Singer for me - just love that film so much! Failing that, Grease, or, an old Carry On movie - yes, I know they're dated and not very PC, but there's something quite comforting and familiar about those (for me, anyway!)

@MorvaanReed I love Local Hero. Saw it in the cinema when it first came out. It’s a delightful film.

My comfort watching would include quite a few of the suggestions already made, and Spirited Away or My Neighbour Totoro

My go to feel good film is 50 first dates! 'Ooooo you crazy biiiitch' I laugh out loud every time I think about it.
