I know I have been glutinous but hear me out. I did a online shop, had it delivered today and got a 6 pack of Skips crisps for free. I have not had Skips crisps in many many years and was delighted to receive them. On a scale of 1 to 10 how terrible am I, to have ate all 6!?!!! It helps I was watching tv...! They really did melt in my mouth and tasted the same as I remember them.

SecretNutellaFix

Cheese Hamwich! My all time favourite food which I had completely forgotten about until now. Thank you.

(dayslikethese1, I too like rice pudding! My mum made lovely rice puddings, however I must say I used to do that too. You hear stories about children (boys in particular), hating it, especially if part of a school dinner but my husband loved it when I made one, other people did too (not my son, he's never had rice pudding but somehow the look of it put him off for life, when I made one while he was still at home I gave him something else for pudding. He was the same about custard).

Ice lollies mentioned above - I liked Jubblies. Does anyone else remember them? Also we used to be able to buy a small vanilla ice cream, properly wrapped, no bigger than a lolly or chock ice. I would still like to do that, on my own I don't need a big plastic container full of ice cream.

I am actually not a great lover of ice cream (except cookie dough), but do like it very much with some puddings.

My husband liked wagon wheels and I haven't seen any in the shops for years.

Does anyone remember Viscount? It was a green foil wrapped mint chocolate biscuit, I honestly believed them to be my lucky biscuits in my youth-I had one straight after a school entrance exam, I got in and them hunted them out before other exams(not sure about that logic now!). I haven't seen them in decades.

Yes sam 211! They were minty too or maybe they did some plain and some minty, I don't remember.

Now you have mentioned Viscount, I can clearly imagine biting into one with great appreciation! I'm going to look Viscount up on the internet to see if it is still in production.

Myshitisreal · 30/10/2019 01:16

sam221, thank you but if you are not a straight guy, you will not fall in love with me. I'm a nearly 70 year old widow!

I too intend to buy some Viscounts from Tesco.

PigeonPieForMe · 30/10/2019 20:12

I eat Viscounts regularly. They've never gone away. Home Bargains also sells them.

MarshaBradyo · 30/10/2019 20:13

There’s a few things I could eat / drink but haven’t like soda stream that’d take me back.

But there was this cake wish I could remember what it was called. So good, no cooking.

Dip chocolate (not covered in just flavoured) biscuits in cordial (or rum) and put cream in between. Went all mushy and so nice. Australian. Anyone remember this?

tigger001 · 30/10/2019 20:13

Fish finger butties
Cheesey beans
Eggy bread.

tigger001 · 30/10/2019 20:17

I have also just bought Artic roll, I bet it doesn't taste the same though.

NationMcKinley · 30/10/2019 20:30

My mum used to give us, INCREDIBLY RARELY, as she was a hummus and home - made - wholesome - soup kind of mother, Arctic roll with tinned peach slices.

Fuck me, it was amazing

Singlebutmarried · 30/10/2019 20:35

Frazzles
Roast beef monster munch
Skips
Fish n chips

Refreshers

Crispy pancakes (also now shite)
