I know I have been glutinous but hear me out. I did a online shop, had it delivered today and got a 6 pack of Skips crisps for free. I have not had Skips crisps in many many years and was delighted to receive them. On a scale of 1 to 10 how terrible am I, to have ate all 6!?!!! It helps I was watching tv...! They really did melt in my mouth and tasted the same as I remember them.

Brannigans roast beef and mustard flavoured crisps. If I ever see them in the petrol station or I'm a pound shop (they're rarely anywhere else anymore) I have to get them!

Also toasted crumpets with tonnes of butter and bovril all over it :) with a mug of hot bovril on the side and loads of white pepper!

Tuc cheese sandwiches
Scampi fries
Corned beef hash
Fish cakes made with tinned salmon
Walls vanilla ice cream with drinking chocolate on it

Used to love Milk tray chocolates but now ergh, plus they've replaced all the caramel ones with apple or dark choc ☹️

PentreBachCymraeg · 28/10/2019 20:59

Lemon puffs Grin

Newbie1981 · 28/10/2019 21:01

Hotdog sausages from a tin, white bread and ketchup! Best butty ever

JigsawsAreInPieces · 28/10/2019 21:02

Monster Munch. Pickled onion. 😋

Newbie1981 · 28/10/2019 21:03

FurrySlipperBoots · 28/10/2019 21:09

@sam221

I used to love Skips as a child! Then one evening after a hard day out the car wouldn't start and we had to wait for hours til the AA guy came. All we had to eat were a huge multipack bag of Skips. I go green just thinking about them now!

Tell you what I'd love the have again - Brannigans crisps! hey were divine! Licks lips

Tunnocks34 · 28/10/2019 21:12

Strawberry pop tarts!

Didiplanthis · 28/10/2019 21:22

amusedbush - Yes ours was brown and orange with an orange toilet tent pitched next to it for the metal 'camping toilet' (bucket with seat) with the blue water in it...

When I was poorly my mum used to make me a Beefburger Sun.

A burger, crinkle cut chips arranged around it like rays, Heinz spaghetti 'hair' and a face made out of cucumber slices.

I had a horrible day at work the other week. When I came home DH had made me a Beefburger Sun. I might have cried Grin

@Redlioness123 salt & vin Space Raiders? I’ve never seen them a bet they’re gorgeous. I love all the other flavours too

PunishmentSnart · 28/10/2019 22:16

@Redlioness123 ha! I posted in my excitement- just read you meant pickled onion. Yes they’re amazing

PunishmentSnart · 28/10/2019 22:22

I don’t think Monster Munch taste the same, neither do Ringos but I still enjoy both.
Remember KP crisps as well - used to get them in pubs as a kid! They do huge boxes in the wholesalers and I have been known to get them and eat a good 6 packets in one go Blush

RedRec · 28/10/2019 22:29

Warm orange squash (Robinson's).
Newberry Fruits.

PencilsInSpace · 28/10/2019 22:30

Pot noodle. I think they are actually better now.

They should bring back chicken flavour quavers.

Dollymixture22 · 28/10/2019 22:47

Chip butty (chip shop chips, fresh white bread and real butter)

IdblowJonSnow · 28/10/2019 23:51

Recently found some ringos crisps having not had any for over 30 years! They're not as good but still bloody nice.
And red snaps as a PP said. Peckish now. Hmm

thatonesmine · 28/10/2019 23:58

Tottenham cake. I've lived up north for many years and it's unobtainable here, unheard of even but was a regular thing when I was growing up in Essex. I'm no baker but the craving got so bad I looked up the recipe and made one a few weeks ago. Writing this has made me want to make another one.
