I know I have been glutinous but hear me out. I did a online shop, had it delivered today and got a 6 pack of Skips crisps for free. I have not had Skips crisps in many many years and was delighted to receive them. On a scale of 1 to 10 how terrible am I, to have ate all 6!?!!! It helps I was watching tv...! They really did melt in my mouth and tasted the same as I remember them.

I was very disappointed with Angel Delight even my favourite butterscotch flavour. Sad But you’re not the only one who licks monster munch, OP!

cooliebrown · 28/10/2019 14:37

recently rediscovered the fish finger sandwich

sam221 · 28/10/2019 14:39

I'm glad i'm not only one who eats crisps weirdly! Potato smileys were fab with just a sprinkle of salt(reserved for when my parents were away!) Don't know why but ketchup has never really tickled my fancy-although mayo is great!

Ice magic. Love it!

A chocolate angel delight takes me right back to childhood. Back then, it would be split 4 ways. But now I can eat the whole thing myself. :)

The same goes for Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies. Still tastes exactly the same as when I was a kid.

Anotheruser02 · 28/10/2019 14:43

Strawberry pop tarts.

SantaIsReal · 28/10/2019 15:10

I make the old school cake & it takes me back!
Bikers crisps, although I'd say they taste better now!

Hagbeth · 28/10/2019 15:17

Angel Delight (butterscotch) Grin

hilbil21 · 28/10/2019 15:20

I loved Heinz potato salad when I was a child. In small orange tins. Wish it was still around lol

Mammyloveswine · 28/10/2019 15:51

Brannigans beef and mustard crisps..amazing!!

Usually get them in the pound shop, ate loads when I was pregnant!

Pink wafer biscuits too! My mam buys them for the kids and always says "they're your mammys favourite so share them!". Totally full of additives so being a good mother I just eat them all Grin

Arctic Roll and Mint Viennetta

Potato waffles. Bought them for dd, she hated them so I've scoffed them all in a series of 1980s themed lunches while shes been at school

elephantoverthehill · 28/10/2019 17:00

Heinz tomato soup, Dm and I shared a tin a few weeks ago, with buttered white bread. It took us right back.

Baldcrusader · 28/10/2019 17:04

Fireball gobstoppers. Ace.

Have the urge now for suet pudding now as nowhere seems to do it anymore.

Ponoka7 · 28/10/2019 17:12

Went out to a all-you-can-eat buffet and the deserts were all classic school dinners.

Bananas in custard, apple crumble and eaton mess. I mixed the eaton mess in with the Babanas and it was heaven.

I've had cola cubes and pineapple chunks, recently, just like they used to be.

vraimentvraiment · 28/10/2019 17:17

Magic stars, I remember my mum used to always have a couple of the fun sized packs in her bags when we went on buses. Don't taste quite as good as I remember though

Fizzypoo · 28/10/2019 17:24

I love bananas and custard. I'm going to have some tomorrow now Grin

randomchap · 28/10/2019 17:28

Crispy pancakes. I enjoyed them so much I decided to make my own, the kids preferred the premade ones.

CalamityJune · 28/10/2019 17:29

Random, i came on to say crispy pancakes! You can't get them as easily now. They scorch your mouth though!

ScreamingLadySutch · 28/10/2019 17:30

"I actively avoid all Cadburys chocolates now because they do taste significantly worse."

me too, they are full of palm oil and the cocoa content has gone way down since they were taken over by that American company

GladAllOver · 28/10/2019 17:32

I know I have been glutinous but hear me out.

Did you really mean that OP, or did you mean gluttonous? It's not the same at all!

Squigean · 28/10/2019 17:36

I'd probably still be happy to eat sausage and mashed potatoes to which I'd add tomato ketchup which I would mix it in with the potato.

Sweet.wise, red packet of Toffo (not sure you can get them any more) or Caramel bars (red and God striped wrapper).
