To get in my pyjamas as soon as I get home?

So I work in an office, usual 9-5 job and get home about 6ish on a night. Just before leaving today a colleague asked me what I was doing tonight, so I said oh nothing probably just get in my pyjamas and watch crap TV like usual. She was absolutely gobsmacked that I get home and change into my pyjamas rather than changing into "normal" clothes.

Is this weird? I've done it for years and DP does the exact same. I can't stand being in formal work clothes in my own home and it seems like such a waste of effort to get changed into a t-shirt and jeans just to change clothes again a few hours later.

So what's the norm with this? AIBU for getting into my pyjamas straight away?

Leggings, trackies and loose top when I get home. (Definitely have to get my smart work attire and bra off ASAP).

I often don't wear PJs and I'd not want to wear them early evening cooking supper.

DH and I both change into slobwear as soon as we get home! No exceptions. I never change into normal clothes unless I’m leaving the house for any reason.

On my day off work I drop the dc to school wearing my pjs (they are at secondary so I dont have to get out of the car) then come home and do all my cleaning while still in the pjs. And I'm not ashamed Grin

I just stay in my work clothes after work

I do.javw pyjama days occasionally at the weekend but not generally after work. Twice a week and sometimes three times I go out in the evenings anyway

YANBU

I do this, which drives my DM mad, even though I've never lived with her for 20 years. I do it partially because I want to be comfortable in my own home, and partially because I work with children with disabilities and behaviour problems, and can't be sure what bodily fluids/germs/dirt is on myself and my clothing, so it's easier to get showered and put my PJ's on than showering and dirtying another set of clothing.
