When asked how Boris Johnson 'shut up' a woman grilling him, Izzi Warner said, "shoved his knob in her gob."

Her sister then said later on in the show, "I played Tig (Tag) not so long ago. But we called it #MeToo and basically we had to chase each other and either grab somebody's boob or Bum and then say (#MeToo)

AIBU or is this vile?

It’s my kind of humour if I’m totally honest. The Boris one made me laugh!

Milicentbystander72 · 20/09/2019 23:16

Sorry OP the #MeToo game of tag made and dd laugh a lot. We're both very open minded and progressive thank you, we just have a very wicked sense of humour.

PatricksRum · 20/09/2019 23:18

I have a dark sense of humour but I draw the line ay publicly mocking victims of sexual abuse and suggesting someone shoves a dick in someone's mouth.

ShirleyPhallus · 20/09/2019 23:19

How on earth has tv sunk so low that people watch people watching TV?! It is SUCH a load of dross

TheDarkPassenger · 20/09/2019 23:20

With all due respect Patrick, and I fully respect your opinion, you do not seem to have a ‘dark sense of humour’

PatricksRum · 20/09/2019 23:20

@TheDarkPassenger If you were aware of my sense of humour you'd say differently but as you don't know.

OP posts:
Ahardknocklife · 20/09/2019 23:21

I laughed at both. Does that mean I am U? Or does it mean I still have a sense of humour and the fun sponges haven't absorbed me yet?

Teddybear45 · 20/09/2019 23:21

It was hilarious.

Seems I'm not the only one

You don't.

I draw the line ay publicly mocking victims of sexual abuse

They weren't.

suggesting someone shoves a dick in someone's mouth

They weren't being literal.

Tartsamazeballs · 20/09/2019 23:22

Nah sorry I think that's proper funny. Horses for courses I guess?

TheDarkPassenger · 20/09/2019 23:23

Hence the word ‘seem’ op.

Slappadabass · 20/09/2019 23:24

They are just jokes, no need to be offended.
I'm sure neither of them condone sexual assault, they are just making jokes, they are there to entertain and people like that kind of entertainment.

PatricksRum · 20/09/2019 23:26

@dollydaydream114
Grateful for your opinion on my humour but you have no idea who I am.
If they weren't mocking it what do you call making a game out of abused women?

OP posts:
SunshineAngel · 20/09/2019 23:31

Sorry, but how is that publicly mocking victims of sexual abuse? I've been sexually abused, it has had a huge negative impact on my life and mental health, and I'm not offended in the slightest.

People need to chill out and stop taking offence on behalf of others when those people aren't even bothered!

peachgreen · 20/09/2019 23:35

Making light of the #MeToo movement is immensely damaging to its credibility. YANBU OP. I have no issue with the individuals who made the joke - it's not to my taste and if a friend made that joke I'd call them on it, but I don't believe people should be vilified publicly for their sense of humour - but C4 should never have broadcast it.

joblotbubble · 20/09/2019 23:36

It's trashy reality TV show 🤷‍♀️

peachgreen · 20/09/2019 23:37

stop taking offence on behalf of others when those people aren't even bothered!

I'm "one of those people" (a victim of sexual abuse) and I am indeed "bothered". You don't speak for all victims. I'm glad you're not offended but that doesn't negate someone else's right to be.

timshelthechoice · 20/09/2019 23:38

I thought it was hilarious.

SunshineAngel · 20/09/2019 23:41

@peachgreen I never said I was speaking for all victims. I'm sorry that you're bothered, and for what you went through. I hope you're getting the help that you need to work through your issues :). I know how difficult it can be to see or hear things that bring back memories, but ultimately we need to get to the stage where we can watch throwaway lighthearted comments on TV. We simply cannot censor everything that anyone might be offended at, forever. I would never expect people to stop talking about it, or stop making jokes. I knew I had to work through it myself, and I have. All the best :).

gostiwooz · 20/09/2019 23:41

With all due respect, it's not exactly highbrow television is it?

Lowlandlucky · 20/09/2019 23:43

I laughed

Mxyzptlk · 20/09/2019 23:45

I'm astonished that people say they found those things funny.
They don't rate as jokes at all, as far as I can see.

Breathlessness · 20/09/2019 23:48

They sound thick as pigshit.

Funguy · 20/09/2019 23:51

It's very fashionable to make extreme or offensive remarks and then say 'I was only saying what everyone as thinking.'
The politicians themselves do it.
it is indeed, grotesque and in some way you can feel that those that collude with it have some thing missing inside.
On the other hand, someprobably think they are funny./notorious/onthebutton.
Basically people will paint their arses green for attention and their are always sycophants and apaths
