I literally can't get up...

IABVVU. I literally can't get up! I woke up at a normal time, got out of bed and felt like someone had been beating me up / smashing me on the head with a hammer. Went back to bed, woke up a few hours later... and I still feel so tired that I can barely move!

I can't be ill because I have no other, ahem, "symptoms" but every time I try to get up I feel dizzy! I'm blatantly just being lazy, DP is being incredibly kind and saying "rest for as long as you need," but he is back off to work tomorrow, so I really need somebody to give me a bit of a kick!

Please tell me to stop being unreasonable and lazy! Grin

Hello, random update! I did my first day back at work today and oh my God, I am knackered! But actually, I'm otherwise feeling much better. I was really weak and tired for about a week after the illness, but then I got well quite fast.

I'm not sure if this is post-maternity-actually-using-brain tired or post-illness tired. But I'm so dead on my feet I'm not sure if I'm actually going to make it home!! (I have visions of myself falling asleep on the tube and waking up in the train depot...)

Thanks, all, again for your lovely posts and good advice before Smile

Ah @NotMyRealName11 well done for getting back to work, not surprised you’re exhausted though!
