To wear knickers to bed?

I always feel exposed if I don’t, but dh says that I’m insulating myself from the world and also that it’s more hygienic. Thoughts? I assumed most people wear knickers to bed...

Knickers all the way 😅
Surprised no-one has mentioned poo crumbs yet btw 🙈

yikesanddang · 16/08/2019 23:23

People. Ima going to say this only once. Bums and foofs don't breathe. They don't need to be flapped in the air to 'breathe'. No breathing is going on down there.

louise5754 · 16/08/2019 23:24

I don't wear nickers but I wear nighties or pj bottoms unless my youngest gets in bed with me. She knows I don't wear them to bed and finds it discussing so the only time I wear them is if she gets in with me.

Mumtotwo82 · 16/08/2019 23:24

Either pj bottoms or knickers. I even put them back on after dtd! I just feel it's less messy Hmm I could never wear a bra to bed though!

yikesanddang · 16/08/2019 23:25

MyBlueMoonBeam

West the heck are poo crumbs?

Timandra · 16/08/2019 23:26

I'd never thought about the spider/foof risk!!!

It's OK. They're all in the garden wiping their willies on people's washing Wink

Fatasfooook · 16/08/2019 23:27

I always worry that if we were ever broke into some poor unsuspecting burgular would walk in the bedroom to my great white arse hanging out the bed haha

What?! 😂

PickAChew · 16/08/2019 23:27

Of course you're not. Always have. never had thrush (except when I took a wrong turn on a search for unscented pads). Always conscious of being caught in a fire.

Iggity · 16/08/2019 23:28

I never used to but when threadrooms came for a visit and infected everyone, it’s been pants/kickers in bed ever since. Everyone should wear them to bed IMO!

RingPiece · 16/08/2019 23:28

Never would ever consider wearing knickers to bed. Couldn't relax properly. Usually wear just a t shirt or PJ's in the coldest of winters or nothing, when it's hot. Even when on period, I just don't.

whereisthebloodypostman · 16/08/2019 23:28

I like everything tucked in and protected with underpants.

RiftGibbon · 16/08/2019 23:31

In my own home, I don't wear anything to bed. If staying at someone else's house, knickers & t-shirt (and knickers if DC can't sleep and is in with me).
Hotels, holiday cottages etc., it depends on how cold it is, how far away the bathroom is, and who I am with.
Hate the feel of pajama bottoms in bed.
DC generally sleeps naked, ditto DH.

MissPollyHadADolly19 · 16/08/2019 23:32

Nope, couldn't imagine wearing undies to bed, cotton pajamas all the way!
Dreading post partum when I will have to wear them damn thunder pads though Angry

whereisthebloodypostman · 16/08/2019 23:35

' Why are posters saying theyd worry about discharge? How much of it do you get?'

If around ovulation time id have sticky thighs! Sorry but you did ask Blush

loutypips · 16/08/2019 23:36

I wear knickers because the air around my fanjo makes me want to wee all night.

kateandme · 16/08/2019 23:36

mens boxers all the way.sainsburys soft touch.mmmm

lololove · 16/08/2019 23:37

I wear clean pyjamas every night. I've tried sleeping in nighty and no pants but it feels weird, especially as I don't live alone (and the other person isn't a partner) so I don't want to become uncovered during the night if the other person should look in the room and see everything I've got so if only in a nighty I wear pants - always clean

Lolodizzyone · 16/08/2019 23:40

Have to wear knickers to keep Tena safely in situ ;)

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 16/08/2019 23:41

Naked if I'm in bed with OH - might wear one of his T-shirts in the winter if it's really brrrr. But no knickers though unless I'm sporting some new lingerie which won't be on for long 🙂

If I'm on my own I'll wear vest and knickers/shorts

KatherineJaneway · 16/08/2019 23:41

Each to their own but I don't wear knickers to bed, only from MN do I know people did.

Bath / shower, pj's then bed.

bellabasset · 16/08/2019 23:41

I get very hot at night as did my dh so it was cotton T shirts and underwear for us, also cotton sheets, have to be flat sheets as they're easier to iron, clean clothes daily, sheets once a week at least.

highheelsandbobblehats · 16/08/2019 23:43

No knickers here. Even as a child I was told that it was important to let your bits breathe.

I do wear PJ's to bed (wearing them now), but they'll most likely be shed in the night. I also favour very loose pj bottoms so there's plenty of air circulation.

DramaAlpaca · 16/08/2019 23:46

Vest top no knickers.

MyBlueMoonbeam · 16/08/2019 23:48

yikesanddang

There are a few threads about them 😝

SleepingStandingUp · 16/08/2019 23:48

No knickers. I couldn't be bothered with having to get dressed again after sex, or getting dressed into pj's then undressed again for sex
