I went in today for Bread and Milk. And came out with a glue gun and a pair of swimming goggles (Damn you, DD)

I'm of a certain age. I remember the Victoria Wood sketch where she said if you can't get me a raspberry yoghurt, get me something else. So her friend got her a meat and potato pie...

Yesterday my ddad went to Lidl for some bagels and some back with a raincoat for the dog in his words “would be handy to keep in the car” said raincoat is too small for the dog. Does anyone know what Lidl’s returns policy is like?

Went in for a printer cartridge and came out with a pizza and a loaf of bread

In for halloumi fries, none left so got a glass balloon garden ornament (didn't go well with salad!)

I went to Aldi for some flashing arm bracelets for night time running. Came home with them AND some fake Sharpies which are the bane of my life as they are genuinely the most permanent pen that exists.

Copper pans- no idea but can look on Thursday when I'm next in, can only see about 3 weeks in advance tho

The reusable nappies I think are on the baby event which starts Thursday

Last month I went in for a loaf of bread.
Came out with beach towels in the shape of

A pink iced doughnut 🍩 and
A hamburger 🍔
Then the torrential rains came and they never saw the light of day (thank goodness)

In my experience there has been no problem returning things to Aldi or Lidl.

I nearly brought a tortilla warmer the other week. Managed to resist. Am sure they pump something in to the air vents in that place where you loose all logic and reasoning. However, I KNOW that one more thing will not fit in any kitchen cupboard in my house.

nothing,ive never shopped in aldi(or lidl)

I went in Aldi once for some picnic stuff we were going to Blackpool/St Anne,s for the afternoon ( only live an hour away) I came out with picnic stuff and a brand new picnic basket it's lovely it had plates,glasses even in salt and pepper cellar ,don't ever go in B&M,s e.g. Looks like this every time I suggest popping in for a tin of dog food.

I went in for the week's groceries and came out with an electronic piano. (Never touched since. I don't play the piano. But I AM going to learn. Honest. Just as soon as I get round to it. When I retire.)

I went into Aldi’s a few months back and came out with a new cutlery set, even though I had just sorted through mine because dp has been composing we had to many. But it was reduced to £2.50 so we had to have it.

Two weeks ago I picked up a black metal bathroom towel shelf, which is still on my dining room table in the box. I’m sure it will be put up within the next 6 months.

Last week was a grey stripped rug.

This week I resisted getting the tie dye kits (which I thought would be handy as stocking fillers). I say resisted, what I actually mean is dp told me I wasn’t allowed. He also put a stop to be buying a deck chair a few weeks back ( I don’t even like sitting in the sun)

The isles of crap are always my favourite. Lucky dp always does the food shop with me or we’d have everything if he didn’t stop me.

We got an air fryer from Aldi,s ailse of crap about a year ago I was just doing my weekly shop,to be fair it's fab and I use it every day .
