Unkind of me but can't help laughing as girlfriend has given him the elbow now his divorce has been finalised. Apparently she refused to sign a gagging order that would have prevented her speaking about him. Ker -ching! How unreasonable. Nevertheless, I predict a monster magazine wedding in the future and much, much more to read about life with lovely Paul. And cake too, of course 🎂

FWIW he isn't even a great baker. For someone in the trade I was shocked he had never heard of or met Jim Lahey and tried his method. I know amateur bakers who are far far more knowledgeable than PH.

Cantfindaname I agree PH is a nob and I think he's GF is just as bad. However in his City Breaks series PH did a section about Jim Leahy and his no knead bread.

Good luck to his ex wife and son, from the bits and pieces I've read about him, he sounds like an utter pig and they're well rid of him. Oh well, reading about 'my hell with PH' will flog a few magazines.

Also live near him and had the interesting joy of being behind him in a supermarket. Am terrible with famous people so was thinking I knew him/should I say Hello? etc, when I realised he was looking at me, grinning and quite clearly flashing me what he was buying...his own book . The eye contact I had with the cashier was as close to a mutual eye roll as was possible at the time.

Anyone who has ever met/worked with/sold things to him always, without fail, points out what a lovely woman his wife is and what a complete arse he is.

In fairness he has been in a relationship with a very young woman. Grim.
