Son getting annoyed when his clothes are in the ironing pile

My oldest son is 21 and became very annoyed this morning because he couldn't find a pair of jeans. He was shouting his displeasure at 6.30 in the morning until I had no option to get up and find them (because it wasn't worth the complaints from the neighbours). He tells me it is a problem with the system I have for the washing. He was really rude and went out slamming the doors behind him. Its not the first time, and yes, I've told him he should leave if he is not happy about it.

DM once did a bit of laundry for DB at this kind of age. She stopped abruptly on finding a used condom wrapped up with his jeans Envy
Mothers should not be handling the clothes of grown up sons.

Change the locks and don’t let him back in the house.

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Dear God! I suspect he didn’t turn into this entitled twat overnight, which begs the question, why the hell have you enabled it?

From now on he does his own bloody laundry and it is time he find alternative accommodation.

Mothers should not be handling the clothes of grown up sons.

Good grief- are they contaminated? Hand grenades? Sex toys?

"Grown up sons" are not an alien species.
I wash the clothes of two adult males and three adult women in my home.
Having everyone do their own laundry would be a messy confusion.

Get him doing his own washing. Give him times where the washing machine will be free.

You keep this up someone else will end up having to deal with this.

Like me.

The excuses some people make, for doing their adult children's laundry beggar belief.

198 posts and the OP still hasn’t come back.

Possibly wasn't expecting people to react by telling her she'd effectively made a rod for her own back.

But she can sort this out quickly enough by dumping her DS's washing issue right back on him.

My DS is 15, more than capable of doing his own washing and has done. Although generally we all muck in to get it done together, doing a bit as and when it's needed.

Never do his washing or ironing again, simple
