And why?

I'm gravitating towards Storybrooke from OUAT

Hogwarts!! But none of the battles, just spells and potions and flowing around the castle.

whateveryousay · 10/07/2019 23:07

The Enchanted Wood. Oh to go down the slippery slip!

Babdoc · 10/07/2019 23:08

The original series of Star Trek. Ive had a crush on Mr Spock for the last fifty years!

BrieAndChilli · 10/07/2019 23:08

You know those made for TV movies where it’s a small town and everyone knows everyone and they have barn dances and tea parties and town fetes every bloody day? There’s always a lovely coffee and cake shop and a handsome farmer. I’d quite like to live there.

Alternatively I have a secret hankering for living in a post apocalyptic world!! Where credit card bills and homework doesn’t exist! Where you just need to worry about growing some food/raiding the supermarket and can move into that massive mansion. Obviously not too dangerous an event like zombies or a nuclear winter though!!!

AragonsGirl · 10/07/2019 23:10

The Shire...I would love to live in a hobbit house! And I like the idea of second breakfast etc

winewolfhowls · 10/07/2019 23:10

Discworld, I would be rincewinds equally inept sister with matching luggage

SwingoutSisterSledge · 10/07/2019 23:12

A Rosamunde Pilcher novel, either in Scotland or Cornwall.

Kallyderon · 10/07/2019 23:13

Oz.

It's the perfect place.

Steamfan · 10/07/2019 23:15

Fairacre , or Thrush Green, in the Miss Read books.

Zilla1 · 10/07/2019 23:15

Would Jasper Fforde's Tuesday Next's world open up every fictional world to tourism?

HelenaDove · 10/07/2019 23:16

1980s tv series The Equalizer. My teenage self even wrote some fan fiction back in the late 80s as a teen when ITV was showing it. On paper of course as no internet then.

I hadnt forgotten the programme as it was my favourite 80s show (still is) but id forgotten about the fanfic until Forces TV started repeating this series back in March this year.

Daffodil2018 · 10/07/2019 23:17

The Harry Potter universe for sure. I'd like to work at the Ministry of Magic and go to the Leaky Cauldron on my lunch break.

HelenaDove · 10/07/2019 23:18

I was being very badly bullied at school and it was wonderful escapism for me.

StumpyinSomerset · 10/07/2019 23:19

Stonewlyde.
It's a series of five books by Kit Berry, about a pagan community

onlyonceortwice · 10/07/2019 23:20

Earthsea

Noodledoodledoo · 10/07/2019 23:20

Care-a-lot with the Care Bears - I still look out of plane windows in the hope of seeing a care bear on a rainbow! I had a poster in my bedroom above my bed for years!

Freespirit24 · 10/07/2019 23:20

I would live in Erinsborough or Stars Hollow!

heidbuttsupper · 10/07/2019 23:21

@BrieAndChilli me too Grin

EAIOU · 10/07/2019 23:21

Twilight. Think it's because I'd like to be super quick and have all their skill sets. Telepathy, speed, strength etc.

Maybe I'd like to be Liam Neeson talking about skill sets...

No, definitely twilight, I always thought they had a handsome family too 😂

Nice thread OP!

PooWillyBumBum · 10/07/2019 23:23

I’d live in Friends where waitresses can live in central New York, you can eat pizza and muffins all day and still be tiny (even after having kids), a new eligible sexual partner is always around the corner, and no matter what you’re destined to end up with your soulmate and it all works out in the end.

DeadDoorpost · 10/07/2019 23:23

Pokemon. Had an obsession since I was young. Never fully grown out of it.

Failing that, either Discworld, the Long Earth or Harry Potter.

Davros · 10/07/2019 23:25

Ambridge

CloserIAm2Fine · 10/07/2019 23:25

The Tardis, then I could go anywhere in all of time and space!

Or Hogwarts, but not all the dramatic stuff, just going to classes and having feasts!

Zippyx · 10/07/2019 23:26

Holby City.

ShabbyNat · 10/07/2019 23:28
