And why?

I'm gravitating towards Storybrooke from OUAT

OP posts:
Charley34 · 11/07/2019 07:55

Oz or Hogwarts

BruceTheMoose · 11/07/2019 07:58

Hogwarts or The Shire (with none of the battles or evil)

cropcirclesinthefields · 11/07/2019 07:58

Rohan or Gondor in Middle Earth or somewhere during the Star Trek 24th century TNG era

SummerInTheVillage · 11/07/2019 07:59

Narnia or The Shire.

Chocolatecake12 · 11/07/2019 08:00

When I was younger it would have been the magic faraway tree. Now...... I’m not sure!

billybagpuss · 11/07/2019 08:01

Mandalay, obviously without Mrs Danvers or the murdered ex wife

bettybyebye · 11/07/2019 08:20

Another vote for Jilly Cooper’s Rutshire, with money of course!

JaneJeffer · 11/07/2019 08:30

Bluebell, Alabama. There's always some shenanigans going on. In reality it would probably be full of Trump supporters.

Davros · 11/07/2019 10:52

billynomates Gallifrey you say? I don't see why the leader of the Daleks couldn't be accepted in rural Borsetshire in these enlightened days. I would have to reopen the Cat & Fiddle

overnightangel · 11/07/2019 12:39

@Xiaoxiong 😀👍🏻
I don’t watch Eastenders but why would anyone want to live in Albert Square?! Whenever I flick past they all look so miserable and shouty!

zukiecat · 11/07/2019 13:12

StumpyinSomerset

I want to live in Stonewylde too!

Or at Finmory, beautiful house in the Highlands, with mountains, a beach, a loch and standing stones right on my doorstep, and with not much to do except ride my beautiful Arab mare, I'd love to ride withThe Pony Folk and slip back into the Celtic world

5foot5 · 11/07/2019 13:23

Fairacre , or Thrush Green, in the Miss Read books.

@Steamfan Oh I love those Village School books too! I was brought up in a village in the North of England, far away from the South Downs where these are set, but so much of the Fairacre Village School reminds me of the little village school I attended.

For anyone who has read many Trisha Ashley books I think I would like to live in Middlemoss, Sticklepond or Little Mumming.

IDontGiveABagOfDicks · 11/07/2019 13:26

@BrieAndChilli Same for me, on both counts!

One world where everything is pleasant all the time, and another with constant trauma.

Wonder what that says about us Grin

IDontGiveABagOfDicks · 11/07/2019 13:28

@Singlebutmarried Sam or Dean though?

Picklypickles · 11/07/2019 13:33

Lyra's world so I could have my very own daemon and hang around with the panserborn!

Mordred · 11/07/2019 13:40

Blimey, so many places to choose form - I love fantasy/sci-fi

Earthsea from Fantasy, I think. Pern from sci-fi.

ButterflyBitch · 11/07/2019 13:40

I’d hop in the Tardis too. Especially with David Tennant’s Doctor. Oh the adventures we’d have Grin

5foot5 · 11/07/2019 13:41

@ButterflyBitch Grin Oh I think I would like that one too!

Awrite · 11/07/2019 13:45

Child me - Enchanted Wood or Malory Towers.

Teen me - Sweet Valley High or one of the Star Trek worlds.

Adult me - Stars Hollow.

billynomatesagain · 11/07/2019 13:50

Gallifrey you say? I don't see why the leader of the Daleks couldn't be accepted in rural Borsetshire in these enlightened days. I would have to reopen the Cat & Fiddle

Ambridge hasn't yet caught up with modern times.

HappyLifeError404 · 11/07/2019 14:26

Valdemar, I think, just pips Narnia to the post.

TheRLodger · 11/07/2019 14:32

Harry Potter world- would love my job to be at hogwarts
Rutshire
Above stairs in Downton
Maybe the state of Georgia in Gone with the Wind

Timeforatincture · 11/07/2019 15:10

I'd live in Chrestomanci castle

Hedgehogblues · 11/07/2019 15:11

Moominvalley

InMySpareTime · 11/07/2019 15:24

Aslan's Country, it's all the best bits of Narnia and Earth!
