In your opinion. Just interested.

It's just come back to me Dangly we threw a hostess trolley in the front garden and set it on fire to discourage visitors.

About the time we smashed holes in the wall to shit outside. Now that was common.

Did we kill an Avon lady?

MsKhan · 22/07/2019 00:50

Making your guests remove their shoes is common?!

Not in my culture.

I've never ever had a guest or workman not volunteer to remove their shoes at the door.

Also funny how someone said upthread about being house proud being common. Within the Asian community, having a dirty/untidy home is considered to be extremely common !

HopelessLayout · 22/07/2019 02:17

If you aren't common you have a separate entrance for workmen, and your guests arrive dressed for the occasion and are shown to your public rooms.

Most of us are common.

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 07:20

Yo the wrinkles are nothing to worry about, it's just fair wear and tear.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 22/07/2019 07:24

Thigh yes we killed an Avon lady called Pauline.

The hostess trolley in the front garden and the shitting holes in the wall was all a bit common!

It was before we started 'tidying up' after The White Poo and the Stigmata foretold is of the Second Coming of the Little Baby Shesus!

Anyway where is baby Cheesus? I hope I haven't been whipping dh for no reason! Although the house is sparkling so that's something!

Is it common to have a clean house? I once read on MN that the truly posh have dirty houses!

What about a dead. Danish guy in your basement?

YoThePussy · 22/07/2019 07:30

Wrinkles in food are good. It helps the marinading process and the sauces settle there and congeal nicely.

I have a separate entrance for workmen. I expect them to come up my NDN’s back passage and through my garden to do my bidding.

urbanlife · 22/07/2019 07:43

This thread is enchanting in a very weird way, it is compulsive reading!

Crusty feet in sandals was the best comment by feet Grin

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 07:54

Yo back passage is a bit common. I think you mean tradesman's entrance.

EsbenSmedJensen · 22/07/2019 07:56

Du fuckers! Jeg er syg for at spise rotter

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 07:57

That's easy for you to say.

swimwithaview · 22/07/2019 08:00

Eating rats - common. But a danish - outside class system?

swimwithaview · 22/07/2019 08:01

Danish, not a danish. Unless we captured a talking pastry.

cheesemongery · 22/07/2019 08:03

My Auntie calls most people common (think Hyacinth) and a salad that solely consists of lettuce, cucumber and tomato a council house salad.

Well I'll tell you, I live in a council house and we put spring onion in ours. Posh!

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 08:10

cheese that made me laugh!

LaurieMarlow · 22/07/2019 08:15

cheese I like to throw a few wotsits into a salad, but I’m sophisticated like that Grin

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 08:25

cheese does your Auntie have strong views on jam? I'm still chuckling about plum jam being considered Common!

ThighsRelief · 22/07/2019 08:31

Jam in salad is rather Mediterranean.

DanglyWhoreTassels · 22/07/2019 08:34

We don't let Esben have spring onions on his salad!

He's also not allowed plum jam, and if he doesn't stop whinging about wanting chocolate croissants I swear I will lose my temper again!

ethelfleda · 22/07/2019 08:36

ThighsRelief · 22/07/2019 09:48

LaurieMarlow · 22/07/2019 09:54

They are THE BEST

DanglyWhoreTassels · 22/07/2019 10:06

Aldi wotsits you say? The best?

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 10:12

You see, this is like a glossy Sunday food and lifestyle magazine!

SlocombePooter · 22/07/2019 10:13

We should do TV listings for the week, too!
