To feel the rage with “teacher tired” posts

Rainbowsandglitterbullshit · 28/06/2019 18:26

The season of teachers posting SM messages “no one knows tired like an end of term teacher/TA/dinner lady” is almost upon us.

I want to scream, what about the fuckers who work stupid hours all week and don’t get 6 weeks off in the summer, half term, two weeks Easter, two weeks at Christmas.

I wouldn’t be a teacher for all the tea in China but these people chose their career.

Grrr, actually don’t care if I’m BU.

BOOM!

BoneyBackJefferson · 01/07/2019 19:51

@cherriesandoranges
Who knows. Who cares!

Well you for a start.

Piggywaspushed · 01/07/2019 19:52

No time to rest! I am a teacher. We sleep with one eye open

Gth1234 · 01/07/2019 19:54

It’s like looking at an actor and saying-‘he’s only on Eastenders for 3 x 30 minutes a week. That’s just the performance-there is so much more going on behind the scenes that absolutely has to be done.

yes. Ben Shepherd reportedly reducing his commitments to help his work life balance. don't you feel sorry for him?

Piggywaspushed · 01/07/2019 19:55

Love it sarcasm ! Especially don't know what the date is

YourSarcasmIsDripping · 01/07/2019 19:58

I expect some poster's blood pressure will go through the roof though.Grin

But then again maybe it's not a bad thing when they come up with claims of "you quit" ,"you're distressed ", "you're hysterical " and my personal favourite atm "you're what's wrong with teaching in this country".

noblegiraffe · 01/07/2019 20:07

You are exactly what is wrong with teaching in this country!

YEEESSSSSS!!👸

Although it doesn’t beat the time someone (not a teacher) said they’d attended more teaching award ceremonies than me.

BelindasGleeTeam · 01/07/2019 20:09

Cherries: someone who seemingly couldn't hack teaching telling teachers they're shit.

There's more than a faint whiff of troll now.

Feenie · 01/07/2019 20:09

Same poster that's been doing this for years under different usernames but thinks we won't notice.

Total gf bellend and best ignored.

MsRabbitRocks · 01/07/2019 20:14

And there you go again cherries, completely avoiding what I asked you and giving a stellar ‘politician’s answer’.

Here’s another angle: IF you saw posts from police officers or articles stating how tired they are, would you judge them as you already do teachers?

(And here is a link to a bloody good article, which you should read www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/may/02/police-officer-london-lost-control-streets-knife-crime-cuts)

MsRabbitRocks · 01/07/2019 20:17

Although it doesn’t beat the time someone (not a teacher) said they’d attended more teaching award ceremonies than me.

Oh yes! Wasn’t that the wife of a husband who was Head of a fake free school!? Ah memories Grin

Pieceofpurplesky · 01/07/2019 20:31

Clavinova? Same person

Feenie · 01/07/2019 20:37

Yep. And marriedinwhite.

Cue tedious denials.

SachaStark · 01/07/2019 20:38

Ahhhhh, I thought I recognised the posting style! Clavinova, of course.

Just got home (after an extremely long meeting sorting out sets for next year, then a trip to the craft store to buy £50 worth of craft material out of my own money so my SEN class can have a fun lesson tomorrow... woe is me, the moaning of a teacher, ohhh, the humanity!) and scanned over the last few pages... I’m still chuckling at cherries, she admittedly has been a RIGHT laugh over the last few pages.

I’m currently reminiscing fondly over my grammar being described as “poor” last night by an imaginary teacher who can’t demonstrate use of a comma, and spells “would” as “wd”.

Piggywaspushed · 01/07/2019 20:39

Sorry to burst your bubbles (not a clue to another awkward poster!) but I fear you are all wrong.

not enough cut and pasting for clavinova

noblegiraffe · 01/07/2019 20:58

Surely can’t be Clavinova or we’d all still be arguing about whether we get paid for the holidays. And yes, the links!

cherriesandoranges · 01/07/2019 21:10

@MsRabbitRocks most police officers I know are not on social media!!!!

Youngandfree · 01/07/2019 21:13

@cherriesandoranges plenty of police officers are on SM I even know someone who works for Scotland Yard as a detective on SM.Grin

cherriesandoranges · 01/07/2019 21:13

@Youngandfree and?

echt · 01/07/2019 21:14

Because they never fucking MOAN on fbook and the like

You know this for a fact, do you?

cherriesandoranges · 01/07/2019 21:15

@BelindasGleeTeam no no I was promoted. I'd happily go back to teaching one day. I loved it and there are s lot of things I miss.

cherriesandoranges · 01/07/2019 21:19

@LolaSmiles where exactly did I make comments about other people's abilities to do their jobs? Please show me the quote? Either you're getting me mixed up with someone else's post or you just made that up for an argument.

cherriesandoranges · 01/07/2019 21:20

@Piggywaspushed "Ah, I see. I shall let my sister know she is unprofessional. She may come round to arrest you. Just to show she leaves no stone unturned in her pursuit of justice."

This comment is entirely weird / or threatening. I'm not sure.

ilovesooty · 01/07/2019 21:20

The irony of @cherriesandoranges telling someone they're just up for an argument.
