Will not stoop in persecuting Brexiteers. Childish namecalling 'thick', 'racist' 'gammon', and now the vexatious private prosecution against Boris Johnson which was quashed before it even got to court.

OP posts:

Clavsplaining

Clavinova · 08/06/2019 11:05

she's a regular nonsense talker on the brexit threads who posts links that don't back up her arguments and most people ignore.

I'm not a nonsense talker at all - some people don't like the fact that I actually bother to read stuff and challenge them on it.

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:05

See what I mean

DizzyPigeon · 08/06/2019 11:07

No, not yet.

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:12

I get paid to read through reams and reams of stuff that is obviously terribly important to the person who regurgitates it. Because occasionally there is something worth looking at and the regurgitating, of itself, tells you something.
In real life I am notoriously more patient than most. However, on here I can spot it a mile off and, having taken the time to read some of Calvinova's earlier work, I can see it for what it is - reinforcing one's own world view and confusing excessive linking with erudition.

DizzyPigeon · 08/06/2019 11:17

So your perception of her in some threads makes it OK to have a go on a thread where she has done none of those things?

Newsflash: generally everyone seems to reinforce their own world view.

Zipee · 08/06/2019 11:17

You are a nonsense talker Clav, you do frantic Google searches to find things that back your opinion, but fail to check them as sources.

The point about the UK being on the losing side more often (but still on the winning side of votes for the vast majoirty), is weakened when you realise that many of these losses were grandstanding by the Cameron government for the benefit of the eurosceptics back home. Rather than genuine issues.

Can you identify a vote that the UK lost that has been detrimental to the UK?

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:18

Well I'm a Remain voter prepared to accept Leave as long as it avoids No Deal. Spoiler alert back at you: I'm the sort of person Leave drones are trying to convince.

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:26

This silly nonsense in the original post and attempts to indulge it are a reminder of a hardcore of bollocks talkers. In case we ever needed reminding.

DizzyPigeon · 08/06/2019 11:26

I'm a remain voter too.

Sadly, I'm starting to see where the op is coming from.

longwayoff · 08/06/2019 11:28

There's a name for this right wing 'turn the argument on the accuser' ploy they all utilise. Reverse narrative. Accuse the accuser of what they've accused you of, preferably at high volume whilst shouting in someone's face. Think Lackey-Lennon screaming "Nazi" at Anna Soubry.

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:30

You do you @DizzyPigeon . You fall for this "we're the victim " nonsense in the op if you must.

DizzyPigeon · 08/06/2019 11:33

I'm not falling for anything.

My eyes are wide open.

Here's some nonsense - EU red tape;

Everyone laughs at the bendy bananas saga so I looked on the EU Commission website myself:

The regulation states that bananas must be "free from malformation or abnormal curvature:

"In 2011 this regulation and other relevant rules were brought together for the sake of clarity under a single implementing regulation (1333/2011), and in 2013 a further change simplified reporting requirements (implementing regulation 565/2013)."

"Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1333/2011 of 19 December 2011 laying down marketing standards for bananas, rules on the verification of compliance with those marketing standards and requirements for notifications in the banana sector. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 565/2013 of 18 June 2013 amending Regulations (EC) No 1731/2006, (EC) No 273/2008, (EC) No 566/2008, (EC) No 867/2008, (EC) No 606/2009, and Implementing Regulations (EU) No 543/2011 and (EU) No 1333/2011 as regards the notification obligations within the common organisation of agricultural markets and repealing Regulation (EC) No 491/2007."

bellinisurge · 08/06/2019 11:38

Yes @Clavinova you are absolutely right and that tedious shit makes me support No Deal where I didn't before.
The op's tender concern for diddums Boris makes me forget about Jo Cox and reminds me that No Dealers are lovely people.

SistemaAddict · 08/06/2019 11:46

Wasn't there something to do with standards for banana growers that preceded that legislation? It's a long way back now but someone on a brexit thread highlighted it.

So, we've got rules about the standards of bananas. What else are there ridiculous rules about?

fiydwi · 08/06/2019 11:54

I hope all you brexiteers lives get completely fucked up as a result of your stupidity for your so called sovereignty
Yes I’m angry!! I’m angry that where I live, businesses are moving away and jobs are going as a result of Brexit.

So if Boris gets prosecuted because of his lies and corruption then good!!

MrsMiggins37 · 08/06/2019 12:02

“persecuting” Brexiteers.🤣🤣🤣

Do me a favour. The entire political and parliamentary system has done nothing but pander to them at the expense of everything else for the last 3 years. They’re just throwing their toys out the pram now they’ve finally been told their unicorn shit Brexit was never going to happen.

Can you identify a vote that the UK lost that has been detrimental to the UK?

Yes I can;

2014 "David Cameron loses Jean-Claude Juncker vote"

"Prime minister suffers humiliating defeat as EU leaders vote 26-2 in favour of nomination for European commission president."

"Cameron objected to Juncker's appointment on two grounds:that he will not be able to lead EU reform, and that the spitzenkandidaten system has no legitimacy." "The system was devised by European parliament leaders who are using the powers in the Lisbon treaty"^ ...

"The prime minister suggested the appointment of Juncker would undermine his attempts to persuade voters that he can reform the EU."

"Before the vote Cameron told EU leaders they may live to regret the appointment, warning them of the grave consequences for public opinion in Britain."

MrsMiggins37 · 08/06/2019 12:04

As for BoJo et al I’m a lot more angry about the lack of accountability there is for our lying politicians, and those who caused this huge mess and just waltz off into the sunset with no consequences

MrsMiggins37 · 08/06/2019 12:08

A lot of remainers are really filled with hate. They would rather destroy this country than let us have our freedom back again.

What “freedom” do you think you’ll enjoy once we leave that you don’t have now?

I feel pretty free already. What can be better than the freedoms I have now? I’m looking forward to being enlightened, but I expect I won’t be.

longwayoff · 08/06/2019 12:10

Sadly BJ, Gove, Rees Mogg et al will escape unscathed and the price will be paid by the soon to be unemployed car workers, the thousands of retail workers and the additional thousands in supply chain jobs. All because uninformed people were conned into believing their lives would improve and nobody wants to admit they were conned. It's easier to blame others for your own mistakes than to admit to being turned over by a bunch of chancers, charlatans, spivs and con men.

Unfinishedkitchen

Yes poor multi-millionaire, sacked twice for lying, paid for a journalist to get knee-capped, spent £53m of taxpayers money on a bridge that was never built Boris.

Yes evil remainers desperately worried about the NHS, their jobs, rights and the decades of continued austerity as a result of a weakened economy.

I used to feel sorry for some leave voters....now just white anger....
