To ask what simple things you’ve done today that made you happy.

I know it’s been done before but not for a while, and I love reading everyone’s little pleasures.
Today mine was hanging lots of brightly coloured towels on the line. Loved just looking at them gently blowing in the breeze. Loved the smell when I brushed past them too. Smile

Finally teaching one of the girls in my class a particular subject she's been struggling with. Her face gleamed she realised she cracked it.

I managed to do a 5k! Haven't run for about a year and this was my 3rd run. So pleased, just need to knock the time down now.

Also planted out some of my veggies I've been growing Smile

Long sunny walk on the hill with a good friend.
Lovely chat with DH about a problem. He was so sympathetic and listened so well. he has ASD and listening/sympathising are rarely his strong point but today he was brilliant.
Started reading a good book.

Got some lovely looking salad leaves in the reduced bit of Asda at 13p a bag.
Had a half snoozy snuggle with a snoozy DS.

Had a very nice honey and nut tart with my mum and two DDs at RHS Wisley. Sun on my face, loads of colour everywhere. Kept DD1 happy with a gingerbread man while DD2 slept in the buggy. A perfect tea break before a perfect walk.

Planted some nice flowers in my front garden, while ignoring the waist high weeds in the back garden did a blitz on the house, but best of all, stuck to my diet!

Did 1/8 of my end of term reports, and it's still nearly 3 weeks til hand in date. I am terribly disorganised and a champion procrastinator so this is a major victory for me!

We have a lovely walk in shower and I love to start my day with some (posh) shampoo.. Not really that pricey but its nice
