I know it’s been done before but not for a while, and I love reading everyone’s little pleasures.
Today mine was hanging lots of brightly coloured towels on the line. Loved just looking at them gently blowing in the breeze. Loved the smell when I brushed past them too. Smile

I went out for a walk during work lunch break and some kind soul had left big bunches of bare branches to use for plant supports on the green with a 'help yourself' notice. So I did and now my bunch of branches is waiting in the back garden for me to decide where best to use it. I saw similar bunches in the arty local garden centre for sale at £12.00 each bunch which is too expensive for me, so I was really thrilled.

Walking my youngest to school after my big one had lolloped out the door for secondary. Both fed, clean, in washed uniform, bags packed, sun on my face and knowing whatever else the day brings we get off on the right foot and they look like someone owns them Grin I love the school run and it's nothing to do with mums or cliques or any politics, not that I noticed that ever anyway... It's just the simple routine and lovely innocence of the playground and the kids especially the little ones pottering around in the playground.

Yoga class followed by a nice swim....
Handsome, unknown man swimming in the next lane stops me to ask if I “can also do cartwheels like that - but on dry land”. 😂😂😂

No, but Ikm willing to put some practice in....and see if he is there again next week!

SynchroSwimmer · 07/05/2019 17:56

Oh, and purchased a nice mini skirt in Next
(I am early 60’s - and don’t actually have the figure for it)

PlaygroupDilema · 07/05/2019 17:56

Raced from one end of a big bouncy castle to the other with my two DC at a gym fun type group. Was great fun!

Had oatly milk in my coffee instead of dairy and really enjoyed it!

Had a lovely breakfast of oats, flaxseed and berries for breakfast which kept me going 3hrs rather than a crappy breakfast which usually leaves me hungry an hour later!

And I'm currently in car park while DP goes into supermarket for ice cream!

Lots of good things.

Disfordarkchocolate · 07/05/2019 17:58

Bounced on my mini trampoline, tiring but makes me feel good.

DulcieRay · 07/05/2019 18:04

Drank my coffee outside

cantfindname · 07/05/2019 18:06

Everyone told me that it's not possible to make falafel with tinned chick peas, must have dried ones. I can't buy dried locally so thought to hell with it.

Oh yes you can make falafel with tinned, and very good they were too.

Such a little thing but such a sense of achievement.

Rollerbird · 07/05/2019 18:06

Walked down the canal with the dog and enjoyed the leaves and birds and fish

why1stheRumgon3 · 07/05/2019 18:25

Dp and I took dc to the park where she said daddy for the first time. Changed the beds and will enjoy snuggling with dp in a few hours, can't wait.

Bitconfused75 · 07/05/2019 18:33

My lovely son just had his hair cut so I got to stroke the shaved bit at the back!

Giggorata · 07/05/2019 18:36

Gave my 2 dogs their evening biscuits... one sings and the other dances for joy. However bad the day has been, it always makes me happy.

MenstruatorExtraordinaire · 07/05/2019 18:38

My youngest wanted to go litter picking at our local park. So we walked round chatting and got 4 carrier bags full. He said he wished I could become the same age as him so we could be friends and always play together. That made me Smile

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 07/05/2019 18:39

Having a sneaky 2pm half hour snooze after work

Walking my dogs through a bluebell filled woodland.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 07/05/2019 18:47

Had a lovely gardener come round to clear our out of control garden so when I came home I could just stand out there listening to the birds for a bit Smile

StepCatsmother · 07/05/2019 18:51

Left work on time :)

Thismummyruns · 07/05/2019 18:55

Made zero plans & stayed in all day pottering about waiting impatiently for baby to make an appearance

BethanyGilbert · 07/05/2019 18:56

I had the best time swimming with my DD, Dsis and niece. It was a pool we hadn’t been to before and the little ones had so much fun in their rubber rings and I managed to do an underwater handstand.

My DS had a swimming lesson and two of the other mums who also watch asked if I wanted to join them for a coffee while the DS’s swam. Made me feel welcome!

BoogleMcGroogle · 07/05/2019 19:12

I sat on a lovely, quiet train and read my book. It was glorious!
