Why are people still deluding themselves about Michael Jackson??

If any grown man I know invited children to sleep in his bed with him there would be absolutely no question about what was going on. I am sure that most people would agree, why are so many people still deluding themselves about this?? Makes me so cross, why do they even play his music on the radio??

I think he believed that he was justified in giving his special love too these boys.

He told the boys the rest of the population is stupid... doesn't understand etc.

He genuinely felt he was doing them a favour.i think the court case de stabilised that...his face became more contorted since then.
It would have dragged him out of that bubble....

I'm so glad these brave men felt able too come out now and speak about this

Of course we all need too wake the hell up as a society and protect our DC. I've always held % back on everyone around my DC. The most trusted family friends, cousins, uncles even grandparents.

Always always put your dc first... and remember we are all animals and these desires etc ... are everywhere

Budsbegginingspringinsight · 07/03/2019 14:02

Those men were abused... he abused them

Limensoda · 07/03/2019 14:05

I don't think this should ever have been shown as he isn't alive to defend himself

Did you think the same about Jimmy Saville? Do you think they documentaries about him should not have been shown?

Thisisnotadrill · 07/03/2019 14:06

Surprising amount of people on my FB posting in his defence today (people who I would have thought would be more reserved).

Weird as I think it’s glaringly obvious that he groomed everyone and abused the boys.

BabyDarlingDollfaceHoney · 07/03/2019 14:07

It makes my blood boil! So much evidence that man was a paedophile and systematically groomed young boys. People defending him is just baffling.

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:08

@DorothyZbornack He was NOT 'proven innocent'. He was found not guilty. There is a huge difference. There is no such thing as 'proven innocent'. A person cannot be 'proven innocent' in jurisprudence law. It is not possible. Don't confuse not guilty with being innocent. They are two entirely different things. It appears that it is YOU who is igorant of the FACTS.

The FALSE CLAIMS in your picture: it is EXTREMELY COMMON for abuse victims to deny they are abused. Often times they don't realise they were abused, as they block it out, until later.
It was these men's story. It was never meant to be an unbiased documentary that questioned both sides. It was their story.
Whether Wade owes legal fees is beside the point, and basically a moot point. Fact is he filed suit because he was abused by Jackson.
He was not 'found innocent'. There is actually no such thing in Jurisprudence.

Considering the FALSE CLAIMS in your image, why do you believe that fanbot write up deserves any consideration?

ElektraLOL · 07/03/2019 14:10

'He genuinely felt he was doing them a favour.'

I don't think he did. I think he only thought about himself tbh

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:14

@wheresthehope "Wade Robson swore under oath at the MJ trial all them years ago saying NOTHING sexual ever happened. "

So what? It is very common for abuse victims to deny they are abused. Often times they don't realise they were abused, as they block it out, until later or were brainwashed to believe there was nothing wrong with it. You clearly have no understanding of childhood sexual abuse. Ask any psychologist or expert in the field, it is EXTREMELY COMMON to deny it.

And again, it was these men's story. It isn't a documentary as such, and as such was not meant to be a journalistic two sides-account. It is THEIR story. Of course it won't ask the apologists and the supporters of the abuser for their view. It is THEIR story.

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:20

@PyongyangKipperbang "But did he know that?

He was fucked up, badly, from a very young age. He never knew what normal, as it is for the rest of us, was. He was 5 years old when he became one of the most famous people in the world."

That is a good question. However, considering the fact he had trip wires and alarms at the entrance to his bedroom, considering how secretive he was, yet how business-like and adult he could be in music deal signings and how he clearly was not asexual as he had copious amounts of porn in his bedroom and on the internet; I think he knew what was right and wrong or else he wouldn't have all the trip wires and alarms if he was wasn't doing anything wrong.

He had an unusal childhood, but no more unusual than any other child star.

He knew.

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:27

@DorothyZbornack "Can I just ask why you think he is a pedophile when he has been so intensely investigated and found innocent? "

Let's re-write this: Can I just ask why you think OJ Simpson is a murderer when he has been so intensely investigated and found innocent?

Firstly, as I said before, Jackson was NOT 'found innocent'. There is no such thing. Secondly, celebrities are let go all the time. Guilty people often get off.

Lastly there is one point I forgot in your image you posted that you re-iterated on here, a false claim. The FBI did not investigate Jackson for 10 years. The police did. The FBI had very little involvement. So that is yet another lie, another false claim by the apologists.

Given you and the apologists get so much so fundamentally wrong, how can we believe anything you say? Why do you think victims shouldn't be believed?

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 07/03/2019 14:29

@LunafortJest

We already know that at least 4 were paid off
I only know of the Chandlers and the Francia settlements, who were the other two?
@RageAgainstTheVendingMachine There were 2 before the Chandlers. I'll find the names and get back to you on that.

Did you find the other two you said were paid off?

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:33

@EnthusiasmIsDisturbed Exactly. I also forgot in my response to PyongyangKipperbang that many people even family and business friends said he 'put on' his high child-like voice and his normal voice at home, in business settings, etc was a deep man's voice. Why would he fake a child-like pre-pubescent speaking voice in public? He was a master manipulator and knew what he was doing was wrong.

LunafortJest · 07/03/2019 14:34

@RageAgainstTheVendingMachine Thanks for reminding me! I messaged a friend who has extensive knowledge on this topic, I haven't received a reply, and forgot to chase it up, will do so now.

unicornsrule · 07/03/2019 14:36

I feel he is innocent he was my idol when younger
Age 10 i bought the bad album
Saw him in concert age 18
I am now 40
He had an awful childhood
Well no proper childhood
Never went put to play etc was always rehearsing with his brothers
Never got to do what normal children do growing up
Just because a documentary has bee. Show showing 2 people saying all these bad things he has done doesnt mean he is guilty!!

Also he had a young soul , was very lonely

SaveKevin · 07/03/2019 14:40

I watched it and completely believe them. I think he thought he was having genuine relationships with them, the mock weddings. That birthday video was fucking creepy. The way they got replaced must have done so much damage to them. The parents were as groomed as the kids, the opportunities and promises it opened for the kids. But the people around him who arranged the rooms etc, they were as culpable as him.

I was abused as a child but didn't recognise it until i was around 25.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 07/03/2019 14:41

He didn't have a 'young soul'.

He wasn't Peter Pan. He was a grown man who had an obsession with young boys.

PickledLimes · 07/03/2019 14:41

I've mentioned this before but I sat on a jury once, an assault(physical) trial, where we were going to find the defendant not guilty because while we thought that he possibly had assaulted the person, there was insufficient evidence that he did and therefore according to the law we should declare him not guilty. Well we didn't get to, partway through the trial he decided to plead guilty(I have no idea why) and we learned from the judge that he had an extensive history of assaults of similar nature, yet if he'd kept his mouth shut we'd have found him not guilty and he'd have walked free, but he had committed the assault regardless of our verdict. That MJ was not found guilty is far from definitive proof that he was not guilty.

Thisisnotadrill · 07/03/2019 14:41

The way he spoke to the boys in the film was really flirtatious and make me feel ill.

StopLazyJournosCopyingContent · 07/03/2019 14:43

Smooth FM has banned his music

PickledLimes · 07/03/2019 14:47

Paedophiles can be very childlike. The two that I have known would have been described as odd but harmless, naive, childlike, almost innocent, collected child's toys etc but they were still abusers. There's no easy way to recognise a paedophile. They can be far from the stereotypical image people have of them, and there's no single character trait to determine that someone isn't one. According to a paper I read it isn't uncommon for some paedophiles to be very childlike so MJ is not alone in that respect.

BertrandRussell · 07/03/2019 15:01

“Also he had a young soul”

What the fuck does that mean?

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 07/03/2019 15:02

Re the comment in the OP about playing his music, do you also wonder why they all play Rolling Stones? Or David Bowie? Other rich stars too... there’s quite a few who had sex with underage girls, some as young as 14, which is statutory rape FYI. Nobody is taking their music off the radio.

JessicaWakefieldSVH · 07/03/2019 15:04

Should we ban movies made by Polanski? Woody Allen? Films and TV starring Don Johnson who was living with and in a ‘sexual relationship’ with a 14 year old Melanie Griffith?

Aeroflotgirl · 07/03/2019 15:08

The way he spoke to the children really unsettled me, it was not in an innocent way, but flirtacious, and how you would speak about your partner, not a young boy of 7. His body language is also very telling towards them.

Aeroflotgirl · 07/03/2019 15:11

He had an unhealthy obsession with young boys, that was bloody obvious, who knows what went on behind closed doors. Like a poster had said, even if MJ was still alive, he would not admit it, only the testimonies of the boys themselves. Somehow seeing MJ in that documentary and how he was around them boys and how he spoke to them, I can well believe abuse happened.
