Why are people still deluding themselves about Michael Jackson??

If any grown man I know invited children to sleep in his bed with him there would be absolutely no question about what was going on. I am sure that most people would agree, why are so many people still deluding themselves about this?? Makes me so cross, why do they even play his music on the radio??

It's hard to let go of Familair things. I watched jim'll fix it when I was a kid. I loved lost prophets and r kelly and bloody Rolf Harris at one time. I heard some mj on the radio in the last year or so and I feel said because it will be the last time for that too. But once you know what they did it's all tainted with pain and horror. We can't condone this.

It's about balance of probability with mj. We all knew he was a nonce years ago. Just a matter a time

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 26/02/2019 20:16

He doesn't pronouce his words properly.

Drives me nuts hearing him singing 'Thiller'...

I don't know enough about the abuse accusations to comment on those, but it's universally acknowledged that he was mentally unstable.

nevernotstruggling · 26/02/2019 20:17

Bet he topped himself because something was about to cone out and shaft him too

Weird as fuck.

SpiritedLondon · 26/02/2019 20:21

The boy who was actually there said you had to see it to understand - the bed was something like 12 feet wide and they would watch movies and eat popcorn

Why do you presume this statement is the truth and not the lie?

PinkCrayon · 26/02/2019 20:23

I dont think he did do it. He seemed extremely child like and I think there are people who will take advantage of that for money. I remember Wade robsons show on mtv he would go on about how he knew michael Jackson throwing his name around. The other problem with wade robson and the other accuser is they both lied in court under oath previously if this is true as they defended him.
I dont believe any grown man who was apparently molested would be so cool about defending his abuser. The footage of wade robson at the time shows him doing the peace sign smiling loving the attention of the cameras as he walks out of court after "defending" Michael. They both also went straight for the cash after his death.

I can safely say if someone extremely rich abused my kids I wouldnt want their money it would feel dirty I would want them in prison...

There are too many wrongs in these stories for them to ring true to me.

SpanielEars070 · 26/02/2019 20:23

I can't listen to his music anymore though, it just feels wrong. DH said the same and he was a huge fan back in the day, saw him live a few times.

His own DC must be very damaged young souls living the life of madness that he did. That alone breaks my heart.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 26/02/2019 20:23

MJ is innocent until proven guilty, he has numerous court cases and none found any eveidence of crime.

MJ is not alive to prove himself, so these people now coming forward are in my opinion looking for their 5 minutes of family and a quick buck to sell their “story”

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 26/02/2019 20:24

Couldn’t agree more!!!!

limitedperiodonly · 26/02/2019 20:25

Michael was a child in mental status looking for fun fairs, zoos and sleepovers to have the childhood denied him when he was little.

I've heard that explanation many times too...

That said, I would not have his music banned. Well, maybe Earth Song. That was a load of old shit, wasn't it? But I love Off The Wall and will continue to play it when the mood strikes me.

FissionChip5 · 26/02/2019 20:25

Trans-age?

ResistanceIsNecessary · 26/02/2019 20:31

There was a very good article on this recently. Think it was in the Guardian. Pointing out that the Jordan Chandler case was settled out of court by MJ's legal team. The settlement offer and acceptance came about after it became clear that Jordan was not only able to correctly describe what MJ's penis looked like, including identifying marks, but the exact position of those marks when his penis was erect...

chillpizza · 26/02/2019 20:35

Celeb wins over public. What’s new there. Personally he gave me the creeps just like Harris/Savil and a few who are still alive.

A lot of the big hitters where involved in child abuse of types.

limitedperiodonly · 26/02/2019 20:35

My problem with the child-man theory of Michael Jackson is that fun fairs, zoos and sleepovers are the kinds of things that children like that that paedophiles pretend to like in order to get close to them and abuse them.

Most paedophiles can only afford to buy a kitten to entice children, and sometimes they don't even have a kitten. Michael Jackson was rich enough to build Neverland where fun fairs, zoos and sleepovers were available on his secluded estate to starry-eyed children and their parents - parents who may or may not have the best interests of their children at heart.

It's true that we will never know. But is anyone seriously saying they'd have let Michael Jackson, or the child-man down the road who wants to show their child his kitten and eat popcorn in bed with them babysit?

XingMing · 26/02/2019 20:35

A talented musician, but a flawed/failed effort at being human. Why the posthumous persecution? It's rather sad that it's still being discussed. Very cynically, I concede that, I think while he may have courted young boys, not one (that I'm aware of) has ever proved wrong doing in court, but there would be estate money that could be paid as damages. In historic cases, the burden of proof is on the plaintiff to corroborate the allegations with EVIDENCE,

PookieDo · 26/02/2019 20:37

I just don’t know
There is so much confliction that I really struggle with swaying one way or the other. I am not a mega fan and never have been of him as a person - he was weird - but I love much of his music (I also am a huge JJ fan). With one of the accusing males there has been much conflict with his story - involved with the MJ production etc, previous denials under oath and so forth, it’s become a complete circus. No one is ever going to know the real truth and I think many ‘fans’ one way or another just simply can’t come down on one side of a decision over guilt. I know I can’t

nolongersurprised · 26/02/2019 20:37

The settlement offer and acceptance came about after it became clear that Jordan was not only able to correctly describe what MJ's penis looked like, including identifying marks, but the exact position of those marks when his penis was erect...

And if he was all about being a child and having fun with children in an asexual way then why were the sleepovers just with boys?

The “adult child” thing was a convenient publicists cover up to to justify why an adult, post pubertal man had sleepovers with small boys.

PookieDo · 26/02/2019 20:41

Wade has not shown himself to be a credible source. He’s conflicted himself multiple times with denials - in court

Thehop · 26/02/2019 20:41

I always thought he was a child himself, mentally. Now I’m absolutely not sure

I think Michael Jackson made a mistake with Jordan Chandler. The boy was a credible witness and his parents were articulate, middle class professionals with money.

Gavin Arvizo and more crucially, his family, were easily discredited in Jackson's trial.

Sparklesocks · 26/02/2019 20:45

I believe MJ’s victims, and R Kelly’s.
I find it devastating thinking about these young people excited to be noticed by their heroes, trusting and loving them unconditionally and being swept along because they want to make them happy. It’s such a horrific manipulation. And parents who let their children sleepover and share a bed with an adult man are essentially selling their own kid for fame and money, it’s devastating.

Deadringer · 26/02/2019 20:45

I really don't know what to make of it all. Not a fan particularly but you would imagine there would be way more allegations against him if it was true? He was a star for what, 30 years, surely there would be hundreds if not thousands of victims, and lots of ex employees and former friends tripping over themselves to sell their stories.
