If you had to choose would you prefer a Corbyn Government/soft or no Brexit or a Hard Brexit with Tories staying in power?

If the choice was between a hard Brexit (but the Tories staying in power) or soft/no Brexit and the Tory vote collapsing and Corbyn getting into power, which do you think would be more damaging to the UK and to you on a personal level?

OP posts:
Topseyt · 28/01/2019 13:34

I want no Brexit. I also don't want a Corbyn government.

DustyMaiden · 28/01/2019 13:35

I would vote for Mickey Mouse for no Brexit. Well get over having Corbyn quicker than anything else.

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 28/01/2019 13:39

Corbyn government and no brexit or soft brexit. Corbyn won't be forever but hard brexit might be.

Howdoidothis4eva · 28/01/2019 13:43

I think Corbyn in power is scarier than anything else I could imagine, so I'd rather a hard Brexit.

Howdoidothis4eva · 28/01/2019 13:45

I also think Corbyn wants Brexit too, so I'm not sure having him in power would do any good anyway.

DarlingNikita · 28/01/2019 13:47

I would vote for Mickey Mouse for no Brexit. Well get over having Corbyn quicker than anything else.

We can change parties in just a few years but the ramifications of Brexit will be worse and longer lasting.

These are very good points.

SilverySurfer · 28/01/2019 13:48

Hard Brexit and Tories. No contest.

MeredithGrey1 · 28/01/2019 13:48

No Brexit, regardless of the party. I think Brexit has the capability to cause far more damage than any individual government, plus governments are temporary and its easier to reverse their policies after a few years.

MammaSchwifty · 28/01/2019 16:01

Hmmm... let me think...

Permanent brexit?

Or

Temporary Corbyn government where he could be replaced at any time?

MissEliza · 28/01/2019 17:13

The trouble is Corbyn, the sneaky little toad, secretly wants out of the EU because he wants to create a socialist island in the North Atlantic. This is why he's provided no meaningful opposition or input since the referendum was even announced.

Again it’s a case of having to go for the least bad option rather than the best.

No Brexit and Corbyn would be my vote.

Uptheduffagai · 28/01/2019 17:27

Definitely Corbyn, I’ve never understood how he’s always the worst option

NettleTea · 28/01/2019 17:28

I want Kier Starmer

Danglingmod · 28/01/2019 17:32

Can't we have new centre party and no Brexit?

Or failing that, I'd take a renewed more centrist Tory party and soft Brexit.

Or a renewed more centrist Labour Party and soft Brexit.

Most people in Britain are moderates. We really are.

noodlenosefraggle · 28/01/2019 17:33

Corbyn and soft/no brexit. Corbyn is temporary. He'll either stand down when he realises hes won an election and now actually has to do something or he'll be voted out when he is unable to deliver his manifesto, due to us still being in the EU. This is also the reason it wont happen. Corbyn and McDonnell are hard Brexiteers. Corbyn particularly is Momentums useful idiot.

MissEliza · 28/01/2019 17:38

Dangling I totally agree with you.

ilovesooty · 28/01/2019 17:39

No Brexit. People in power are temporary.

ClanoftheCaveBear · 28/01/2019 17:41

**Crikey. It’s like asking if you’d rather be shot or stabbed, isn’t it??
This
With a heavy heart I’d say Corbyn because I don’t think he actually wants to be pm, he’s lazy and stupid. I don’t think he’d last long. Brexit is forever. I would probably start campaigning for the Tories though!

TitanicWasAGreatMovie · 28/01/2019 17:43

If possible I’d take no Brexit, and an Yvetter Cooper lead Labour government. Just total re-set the last 2+ years and rebuild Britain as a great place to be again. Where people could live together reasonably peacefully.
I know, that’s a long shot Confused

wafflyversatile · 28/01/2019 17:45

Regardless of Brexit I'd prefer a government which isn't selling off the NHS and fucking poor people up the arse with a dirty spanner so I'd prefer Corbyn.

What amazes me is what a good job the rw media have done in convincing people that Corbyn is extreme left wing and a tory govt is centrist. May wanted to do away with human rights, Corbyn doesn't want the NHS privatised. WTF.

midpond · 28/01/2019 17:45

Id vote for Mickey Mouse to avoid Brexit. Save us all the hassle and expense of getting back into the EU in 20 years. How David Cameron sleeps at night, I do not know.

Bluelady · 28/01/2019 17:46

A Labour government without Corbyn and no Brexit for me.

wafflyversatile · 28/01/2019 17:47

I like how the OPs assumption is that Corbyn would harm the UK, it's just by how much, when this Tory govt have absolutely fucking destroyed the place, and their assumption that we only care about the effect on ourselves, no one else.

JarndyceVersusJarndyce · 28/01/2019 17:48

No brexit

maddening · 28/01/2019 17:51

Soft or no brexit definitely
