No problem for me

SometimesMaybe · 27/01/2019 21:05

Perfect. Kids love a party bag (and the plastic tat!) and paint is a bit different and never goes wrong.

PippilottaLongstocking · 27/01/2019 21:05

Sounds nice, you can get those tiny tiny sets of paints, I remember getting them in party bags when I was small

Merryoldgoat · 27/01/2019 21:05

I opened because it was my son’s party today and was scared you were a parent casting derision on my offering!

Mine were similar plus cake and a chocolate bar.

UnicornSlaughters · 27/01/2019 21:05

Pretty standard party bag imo, my (reception aged) daughter would be thrilled

Nicpem1982 · 27/01/2019 21:06

I want something that will be used or added to current art supplies so think paint may work

My dc would love that

Nicpem1982 · 27/01/2019 21:07

Oh and cake

Sounds fine. My dc (4yo) would like this. She likes sweets / choc best and when she gets slime or putty because she's not usually allowed it.

treaclesoda · 27/01/2019 21:07

I'd be ok with most of it but I'm not keen on helium balloons. I've seen too many float away over the years and then I worry about them getting eaten by wildlife.

The rest of it sounds fine to me though.

Nicpem1982 · 27/01/2019 21:07

Party isn't for a while so ill start to look for bits on offer

Sounds fab. Can I come to the party.WinkGrin

SouthernPeach · 27/01/2019 21:08

Sounds good to me

Ffsnosexallowed · 27/01/2019 21:08

Sounds great apart from the helium balloon. Just stick a normal one in.

SaucyJack · 27/01/2019 21:09

Not keen.

I prefer the environmentally unfriendly plastic tat that they can play with on the way home before I discreetly bin a week later to activities that they’ll be bugging me to set up and do as soon as they get in.

InDubiousBattle · 27/01/2019 21:10

It's a generous party bag, mine would be happy with the crayons, stickers, notepad and sweets. I'm not crazy about helium balloons so wouldn't hand them out but wouldn't mind if my dc were given one.

KatieKittens · 27/01/2019 21:10

Maybe not a balloon if the families have pets or younger siblings. Could be a hazard.

Stickers- a bit controversial in some households ( hard to get off walls and furniture 😂)

A notebook is a lovely idea, crayons and paints also sound good. x

Mouikey · 27/01/2019 21:11

No helium balloon - not only are they environmentally challenging if they get away, but helium is a finite resource, much better for it to be used in MRIs rather than balloons!

ApolloandDaphne · 27/01/2019 21:11

Paint is fine but is wouldn't include a helium balloon. Helium supplies are being depleted at a great rate and as it is a vital component of MRI scanners i don't think i would want to contribute to its further depletion.

theworldistoosmall · 27/01/2019 21:12

I would be fine aside from the helium balloons. There's still a shortage of helium and the medical needs far outweigh priority for balloons imo.

Nicpem1982 · 27/01/2019 21:12

saucy what would you suggest? Im completely open to ideas i have ages to plan my only stipulations are

Must tie in with theme
Must be unisex
Must come in under 2.75 per bag

Im totally open to ideas

I've had a paint set in a bag before thought it was fab.

Last weekend my daughter got one of those felt colouring pictures, she has spent ages doing it and needs no supervision apart from keeping little brother away from the felt tips but that is normal when she is colouring!

Nicpem1982 · 27/01/2019 21:13

Will leave the balloon maybe a bag of rainbow drops instead

This is exactly what I was going to post.
There is a real issue regarding helium running out. They need this for MRI scanners, and there are real fears for the future of this equipment.
