What you’ve had for Saturday night dinner

Just got that really. Am doing the January thing if trying to eat a little healthier but usually have a takeaway on a Saturday- so compromise is making a home made curry that still involves butter and cream, but is a better choice than full takeaway with all the bells and whistles

Homemade Chili, rice, jalopenos and sour cream - yum yum - I could eat it again.

We had a traybake of chicken thighs, chorizo, potatoes and red onions with a green salad. Kids liked it too.

Homemade chicken fried rice, with prawn crackers!

Honey chicken stir fry with noodles.
Now eating a snickers.

Home made macaroni and cauliflower cheese and and a green salad. Yum!

Lasagne and salad made by dh so heavy on the cheese and delicious 😋

Ramen with homemade pork stock, kale and crispy pork belly slices . Was bloody lovely... Now self - marinating in Sauv blanc

Cheese and potato pie. DH isn't eating very much at the moment so I went for something soft and easy.

Just me and dd for dinner tonight, she has a huge hangover and all she craved was smiley faces and ketchup. A quick trip to the corner shop and boom one happy dd. We had half a bag each, not a healthy meal

Chicken bacon and mushroom in white wine sauce. Delicious.

Steak, chips, mushrooms and spinach! It's Saturday I've had a long shit week and I deserve something nice!

Instant noodles with cheese 🤭

salmon new potatoes salad,,,dead boring would have killed for a kebab!

Minute steaks from Aldi with onions, mushrooms, baby tomatoes, mushroom sauce and mash.

OH cooking Veggie toad in the hole, veg and gravy...nom

Fish in batter, mash, peas and parsley sauce. Gorgeous. Though being as someone has already mentioned food boxes I'm a massive fan of Simply Cook which I've just started using. Its transformed our eating habits.

I had a spinach and ricotta pizza with tomatoes on.

About to have haggis needs and tatties as DDs out yesterday so
Burns Supper tonight.
