Head accused me of running over a child foot and swearing at him!

We recently moved from a naice area - to a rural hick town (it's a dump) think quiet little redneck mountain town. I've three kids and my eldest is 13. 13 years of school runs ... I've a pgce. I've made successful decisions and don't work as I'm comfortable. I send my children to state schools as I attended a top 20 state school. But the standards today are woeful. Think nits and threadworm. Yesterday morning the head said I'd run over a child called Harry and sworn at him. (Eh? Come again love). Shes a hopeless head. Doesn't speak to or interact with children. Would you make a complaint?

Never been treated like dirt before. =( would u send children to a decent prep school?

Well if Harry said it was true then I believe him tbh

twoheaped · 24/01/2019 21:54

Which country is this in?

Sparklingbrook · 24/01/2019 21:54

Poor Harry. Sad

Passmethecrisps · 24/01/2019 21:55

None of that makes any sense i’m Afraid.

Maybe you should use your PGCE to home educate?

Dothehappydance · 24/01/2019 21:55

I've never been to a 'quiet little redneck mountain town'

How would I know one? Does it actually have to have a mountain? I need to know if I live in one or not.

kitkatsky · 24/01/2019 21:55

Ltb?

Tjzmummabear · 24/01/2019 21:55

It has nine standards which I find ironic

I have a very almost 13 year old, but I haven't done 13 years of school runs, did I miss a trick not enrolling them from birth.

does each have an eagle?

Passmethecrisps · 24/01/2019 21:57

Nine standards for what?

Tell you what? Write your complaint and post it on here for comments. Add all the stuff about hicks with nits - more details and judgement works best in education complaints in my experience.

Tjzmummabear · 24/01/2019 21:57

Except my child was off sick yesterday
