Head accused me of running over a child foot and swearing at him!

We recently moved from a naice area - to a rural hick town (it's a dump) think quiet little redneck mountain town. I've three kids and my eldest is 13. 13 years of school runs ... I've a pgce. I've made successful decisions and don't work as I'm comfortable. I send my children to state schools as I attended a top 20 state school. But the standards today are woeful. Think nits and threadworm. Yesterday morning the head said I'd run over a child called Harry and sworn at him. (Eh? Come again love). Shes a hopeless head. Doesn't speak to or interact with children. Would you make a complaint?

Never been treated like dirt before. =( would u send children to a decent prep school?

Yes, you write your complaint and we will critique it.

Nits and Threadworm. Wasn't that an early 90s indie band?

Add that as well.

So. In summary: hick mountain town where all the children have nits and worms. Parent whose child has attended school since birth, probably due to the extremely high levels of qualification and successful decision making, was absent from school. But parent being the dedicated sort went to school anyway and in doing so ran over a small boy called Harry and hurled abuse at the head. Who in the stramash which followed neglected to notice that parent didn’t actually drop off her child.

Is that it?

Hmm
Ontheboardwalk · 24/01/2019 22:05

How could you have done that to Harry?

Poor Harry, tell him I hope his foot gets better soon...

WomanWithAltitude · 24/01/2019 22:06

As it's a town that next to a hill called Nine Standards Rigg.

None of your post makes sense. Are you pissed?

WellThisIsShit · 24/01/2019 22:06

I feel like I’m failing to get some cultural references here...

Atchiclees · 24/01/2019 22:06

Yes complain. Write exactly what you have written here. Send a copy to the chair of Governors too. They should not be employing a not very good Headteacher in a hick mountain town school where the women are fat and ugly and the men are bonking their secretaries. Also send a copy to the local paper, divorce lawyers will thank you, and to the local doctors so they know about the nits and threadworm.
How deeply unpleasant for you, mamma bear. After you have complained removed your kids and once and send them to a prep school, especially the 13 year old before he starts his or her GCSE options, you don’t want them mingling with the riff raff any longer than they have to. Oh but first, cancel the cheque.

Mayrhofen · 24/01/2019 22:06

Wtf is going on here.

Had my first chocolate in two weeks, the sugar rush is confusing me, I can’t make head nor tail of this.

FevertreeLight · 24/01/2019 22:07

Kirkby Stephen

A well known den of nits and threadworm.

They quarantine at the cumbrian border so that it doesn't infect Yorkshire.
