A) if you were in the USA
B) if you were not in the USA.

I just saw my first one (tourist, on holiday). And was a bit surprised by how eeeeewww I felt.

It's kind of like people are making it easier for us to spot the arseholes......

Foraminutethere · 24/01/2019 19:52

Saw one in local village in UK. Wanted to throw something at him. Pretty sure my fil is going to get one at some point. It may go mysteriously missing.

WaxMyBalls · 24/01/2019 19:55

That they were a clunge.

tilder · 24/01/2019 19:56

Racist chauvinist

AnxiousMcAnxiousFace · 24/01/2019 19:58

A) Massive Twat
B) Massive Twat

Muffster · 24/01/2019 19:58

I couldn’t think how to express my extreme disapproval so I pointedly crossed the road. Then I had to cross back again because the shop I needed was on his side.

I wish I could’ve thought of something polite but savagely disdainful to say.

I'd assume they picked it up in a charity shop or got given it for free and hey, a baseball hat is a baseball hat, might as well use it.

BartonHollow · 24/01/2019 20:00

A) in the USA - twat

Outside the USA twat

It's quite simple

moredoll · 24/01/2019 20:00

What a tosser
What a tosser

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 24/01/2019 20:00

Oh and I did see some in AK-nowhere USA worn by some lads who looked like they were in a drag do.

I may have made my disapproval known (as did DH). Bad mother ☺️

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 24/01/2019 20:01

Stag - stag do (not drag do).

KateArronax · 24/01/2019 20:02

I honestly wouldn't mind.

It's not a good look though.

It's far less offensive to me than the t-shirt with "fuck you" on that I saw on holiday a few years ago while with my young (but reading age) kids. That really wound me up for some reason that day. So I do see where you are coming from.

Bathbombs · 24/01/2019 20:03

I’d presume they were being ironic

MsVestibule · 24/01/2019 20:03

Ooh, that will have definitely learned him Grinx

MrsJamin · 24/01/2019 20:03

There were lots of people wearing them in Washington DC when we visited in 2017, young people and women and people of colour, it shocked me as I had only thought I'd see old white men in them. I just shook my head and whispered under my breath! I'd be even more surprised if I saw them in the UK. Why do you ask?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 24/01/2019 20:04

And that was AF-nowhere (Sheesh my typing is awful)

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/01/2019 20:07

Wax you are awesome for getting the word 'clunge' into a thread Grin

But agree with all previous replies I'd be somewhere between bewildered and horrified.

Whilst on holiday in DC a few years ago I saw a chap with a TShirt that screamed "Guns don't kill people, people do". I totally (silently) judged him as a twat.

slashlover · 24/01/2019 20:07

I would think they were an idiot and I wouldn't want to associate with them BUT I wouldn't cross the road or say anything to them. It's still their choice.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/01/2019 20:09

OP next time you need a combination of a Paddington Hard Stare and the Mumsnet head tilt.

buckingfrolicks · 24/01/2019 20:10

I'd think they were an ignorant hick who'd voted Trump

rosenylund · 24/01/2019 20:18

I bought my mum one as a joke along with some trump toilet paper for her birthday. Was looking for a hat to cover greasy hair, and nearly wore it. Except I wasn't sure how I would cope with people who thought it was joke / or did not think it was a joke Confused

MesM · 24/01/2019 20:20

A)Twat
B) Twat

NCjustforthisthread · 24/01/2019 20:22

i would probably think they liked trump.

KateArronax · 24/01/2019 20:22

I would assume it was a bit of a joke in this country.
