A) if you were in the USA
B) if you were not in the USA.

I just saw my first one (tourist, on holiday). And was a bit surprised by how eeeeewww I felt.

OP posts:
NicoAndTheNiners · 26/01/2019 20:11

My teen dd reckons she wants one as an ironic statement.

I've pointed out people won't realise she's being ironic, they will think she's a racist twat. She's shut up about it now.

HexagonalBattenburg · 26/01/2019 20:33

I'd assume they wanted attention and ignore it completely. Either being a Trump supporter or wearing one to be ironic - they both want attention - so don't give it to them.

HeronLanyon · 27/01/2019 03:59

Hi counter practicing sexual respect/safety a great idea for us all. Good one !

MonsterKidz · 27/01/2019 04:24

Whenever I see one, I shake my head and mutter under my breath.

Regardless of where I am.

ChildofGod92 · 27/01/2019 08:57

Sadly we're just as likely to be assaulted by a democrat with a sweet Southern drawl. Bill Clinton is a sexual predator and has been as far back as 1969. At least 12 women have come forward to accuse him of sexual assaults including rape. Hillary knew of these assaults but did nothing to aid the victims or publicly denounce them. She stayed with Bill because her political aspirations were much greater than her personal integrity.

Many people did not want the Clinton's back in office and for good reason. When the Me Too movement surfaced, Hillary went on Twitter assuring the women their voices would be heard. She was called out almost immediately by one of Bill's rape victims, 75 years old now. She most certainly did not hear them.

We did not want them back. They are not good people. That is nothing to shrug off, gloss over or minimize. Bill bit at least two of these women. I have no doubts Donald also has his share of assaults. I would not vote for either. A great deal of blame for Trump lies with those POS Clinton's!

Make no mistake a rapist wears many hats or no hat at all!

BlackCatSleeping · 27/01/2019 09:03

I 100% agree with that post, ChildofGod92

I really wonder who is coming next.

DarklyDreamingDexter · 27/01/2019 09:04

B) I'd think they bought it in Poundland for a quid like my son did! I said "I hope you're not thinking of wearing it in public?" He said "Of course not, I just got it for a laugh." So, it sits on a shelf in his room next to the Trump toilet paper, dictator top trumps and eraser in the shape of Kim Jong Un!

Anniegetyourgun · 27/01/2019 09:58

Iirc doesn't a Trump-affiliated company make those hats? So buying them is actually putting money into his pocket. I hope the cheap ones are knock-offs.

Interesting how many posters have come on to chide others about their attitude to the hats, explain why so many people felt impelled to vote for the unspeakable Trump, and expect him to succeed for another term without even mentioning the hope possibility he'll be in prison by then; but not a one of them actually likes him or voted for him themselves, oh no.

PenguindreamsofDraco · 27/01/2019 10:08

A) FIL or one of his friends.
B) FIL.

Lovely man; different politics from me.

peekie · 27/01/2019 16:04

There was an old guy wearing one in Costa the other week.

My immediate thought was 'dickhead' then WTF. English accent. Totally random.

BrilliantDarling · 27/01/2019 16:08

@Daisy03
In what way were they being "extremely disrespectful"?

InionEile · 27/01/2019 16:15

Yes, yes, yes, ChildofGod - BUT HER EMAILS...!!!!!

Not enough people know that Hillary Clinton is a satanic she-demon who roasts babies on spits at that pizza restaurant she runs a child trafficking ring out of in DC. Yes, all entirely true information not Fake Nooze at all.

Good thing Donald Trump is a good, clean-livin’ Christian man who has never told a lie in his life...Hmm

TheCounter · 27/01/2019 16:24

"Not enough people know that Hillary Clinton is a satanic she-demon"

Ya reckon?

ChildofGod92 · 27/01/2019 16:39

InionElle everything you just wrote has absolutely nothing to do with my post. Are you suggesting Bill is not a sexual predator, Hilary did not ignore it and those women are lying? I said I am sure Trump has done the same as Bill and I did not vote for Hillary or Trump. Why should I care if Trumps a "Christian" he is a steaming pile of human excrement and so are the Clinton's.

ChildofGod92 · 27/01/2019 16:50

BlackCat it is really scary, talk about two terrible choices. I was really depressed about it. I used to love the Clinton's I felt severely betrayed to find out Bill's treatment of women and Hillary's acceptance of it. I have been sexually assaulted and it's nothing for people to just be flippant or sarcastic about it's very damaging. I am talking to you InionEle.

Bill Clinton hurt women. Hillary helped cover it up for years. She kept their daughter around him. It's not fake news, it's not funny, and they have no business being in the white house and neither does that idiot Trump.

mothertruck3r · 27/01/2019 17:05

I'm curious as to whether people would have said the same about Moseley's Brown Shirts.

There was a photo a few years ago of someone with a child waving an ISIS flag in Whitehall or somewhere in Central London. I don't recall this person being arrested and the consensus seemed to be that it was freedom of expression. There is also a yearly march in which people wave Hezbollah flags (both designated terrorist groups). Again, this is apparently perfectly legal. So, I don't see why there would be a problem with someone wearing a MAGA hat or a pussyhat in London as there is nothing illegal about supporting either.

Daisy03 · 27/01/2019 17:26

Brilliantdarling lots of boisterous obnoxious discussion of the subject matter. Selfies with exhibits. Mocking of a story of a child that had died.
I know teenagers can be like that in public but they were old enough to know better. There were people there that were obviously Jewish and sombre and it was completely disrespectful, they were told repeatedly by a security guard to keep it down but they paid no notice whatsoever.

BrilliantDarling · 27/01/2019 17:37

Daisy03 I thought you meant the fact they were there while wearing the hat was disrespectful but I completely agree with what you have just said that was very disrespectful of them!

notacooldad · 27/01/2019 17:38

I would assume they were either young and not very well educated or old, white, racist, misogynist and full of a sense of white entitlement.
I prefer this baseball cap

To ask: What would you think if you saw someone wearing a red MAGA (Make America Great Again) baseball hat
ChildofGod92 · 27/01/2019 18:16

Daisy03 that's terrible I would be so angry. That is such a solemn experience, to have it ruined like that for other people would be very disappointing. I would probably say something.

MrsTerryPratcett · 27/01/2019 18:18

@mothertruck3r you didn't actually answer the question.

TheCounter · 27/01/2019 18:29

Yip. Quite disgraceful. We've got the same problem here with gangs of men wearing 'Momentum' on their T-shirts.
Don't ever mention Israel or the Jews to them....unless you fancy getting your face 're arranged'
Absolute thuggery.

InionEile · 27/01/2019 18:31

I have been sexually assaulted and it's nothing for people to just be flippant or sarcastic about it's very damaging. I am talking to you InionEle.

I'm not being flippant about sexual assault: you are by putting the Clintons on the same level as a proven sexual predator like Donald Trump. That's just ridiculous and if you believe that then you must believe every lie you read. Trump and Hillary Clinton (note: she is a person in her own right, not an extension of Bill Clinton) are nowhere close to the same level, whatsoever. They're just not. Pretending they are shows that you will subscribe to any nonsense which is why I mentioned Pizzagate. The media have been churning out lies about Hillary Clinton the minute she became the first First Lady who decided to have a brain and her own opinions rather than just being some passive helpmeet.

Serendipitybojangle · 27/01/2019 18:50

I live in the US and have never seen anyone wearing one thankfully. If I did I would be judging them very quietly, but judging them none the less.

WhoAmIToTellYou · 27/01/2019 18:54

Narrow minded twat
Even more narrow minded twat- go back to USA and MAGA by hollidaying there!
