I don't watch all those odd programmes they present but the man

-cheated on his wife with his PA, now girlfriend, and she is quite obviously pregnant
-writes an article flaunting his love for his new girlfriend while still divorcing his wife
-caused a nasty accident and was subsequently convicted of drink driving

• has not worked for a whole year

yet apparently won an award last night!

Others in the public eye who have done what he has done get vilified (look at Prince Philip's car accident!)

Totally agree. What would he actually have to do for people to turn against him? The drink driving incident would have ended many a celebrities career but somehow he’s been welcomed back like a hero

I honestly believe Lisa will have the last laugh I feel so sad for her but life doesn't work like that. She's extremely bitter at what happened but she has to work her way out of it. There's no such thing as karma.

Agree that there is no such thing as karma, but they were very young when they met and were together a long time. Most of that time, she had to struggle with infertility while living with an addict. Is there any proof she is an alcoholic or was enabling him? She is one of the top makeup artists in the country and has held down a job on Strictly for many years. Once she gets over the bitterness, she'll be free of him, all the sycophants that surround him and enough money to disappear. I think in that way she may well have the last laugh. The whole 'Anne Marie is pregnant' narrative is imo all about how Lisa was the one who couldn't give Saint Ant a child and now he's free of her he can have a child with someone else. No possibility of the him being infertile.

She’ll get over it. She will have a lot of money behind her now. She doesn’t seem short of friends. I think she’ll probably have a very nice life, but....she does seem to have her own substance issues. I hope she can overcome these. If she hasn’t/doesn’t she does run the risk of being bitter and miserable sat at home with a bottle of wine. It’s almost impossible to get over this sort of thing if you drink to excess regularly, it’s not emotionally healthy.

Well a lot of it is gossip, about their lifestyle when they were together and she is seen drinking a lot. But if you’re familiar with what alcoholics look like, she looks like one. Where her weight is (round the middle), her puffiness, the bags around her eyes where they’ve spent years being puffed up in the morning and sagging later on, the premature aging. If you’re very familiar with alcoholics then you can spot a chronic one easily. When Ant had his first rehab and was denying a drink problem, I said on here you could see he’s an alcoholic. I was told I was wrong but obviously I wasn’t.

Many people are functioning alcoholics.Not everybody who is an alcoholic drinks every day or falls around drunk.I think thats probably how Ant got away with it for so many years.

Yes, I think the fact they both worked evening jobs is not insignificant.

Isn't Anne Marie of an age where pregnancy is less likely, to be realistic? Plus she has her own kids - I'd be surprised if she wanted more, but the media would love a 'happens at last for Ant' story, so they keep stupidly pushing it.

Also, rich alcoholics come off a lot better health wise than poor ones. You're likely to be drinking better quality stuff, and also be able to afford eating properly and all the other things that counter the effects of the alcohol. So both Lisa and Ant are likely to weather the consequences of excessive drinking better than the average person - which is not to say they escape damage-free, of course.

Well exactly, but his fans expect him to have got a 40 year old woman pregnant within minutes after trying to have a baby for 10 years with his wife. They probably do both have fertility issues.

I feel for Anne Marie a little, the press have been claiming she’s pregnant ever since they went public but her tummy hasn’t actually grown at all for months and months.

Well it's not as bad as Kerry whatever who smoked through her pregnancies then told other women to do it then won mum of the year

I am not sure where Kerry Katona fits in to the thread but seeing as you mentioned her Kerry has been slated for years about her drug habit her mental health her parenting there has been no great support for kerry because she has been labelled a bad mum and a disgrace many times over the years.

Giving someone support with their troubles and not supporting them getting an award are two different thing that should be delt with independently.

I still don't know which ones which.

Got to say if these two are best presenters, where are the worst, they even had a rubbish presenter on the awards Dermot o dreary.

Actually, thanks to all this coverage of Ant and dog, I finally know which one Ant is.

I feel sorry for Lisa she did everything she could to help Ant, i know at the moment she's very bitter that's what being in love with someone does, she should hold her head up high and get out there and enjoy life, As for Ant i couldn't care less that he's back on tv, i don't watch them, i find them both annoying, Dec should have got the award on his own Ant did nothing to deserve it yet he had the cheek to say thank you.

Lisa is allowed to be upset and angry she was with him decades but I don't think posting on twitter helps her or paints her in a very good light it alooks a bit bitter Ex which is a real shame.
