Lol I get to play my top trump! I live on an eco small holding, grow most of my own stuff, very little plastic use etc, last time on holiday was well over 5 years ago.

Now obviously that is not practical for most people, but you did ask! But re flights etc a person doing one thing shouldn't shut down the whole discussion around this for everyone, now shes probably a very nice woman, I don't know her, but her business model is based on encouraging people to buy this crap "oh but not everyone buys it" but a fairly significant chunk will, thats why she's getting paid to do it, just need to browse through #hinchhaul and the various other tags to see the crazy amounts people are buying.

No, as that's my point. I'm not judging anyone. That we all do our bit, whether it be plastic use, chemical, both or fuel.
I wouldn't berate someone for doing one thing whilst I happily or obliviously did another.

It's so frustrating when the huns invade.

We're all guilty (well, most of us) of some crimes against the environment however hard we try not to be.

The thing is, a lot of people (and businesses of course) don't try. At all. And don't care. That's how the world's in such a fucking mess in the first place.

Of course those that DO try aren't perfect and have to make compromises /leeway sometimes, but in my experience people who give a shit tend to try to improve their impact or be mindful in most areas of life.

I just don't get the comparison between this, and someone using an obviously excessive and totally unnecessary amount of products and materials.

It would be nice if the cleaning influencer who has the force of personality/ luck/ exposure to garner 1.5m followers realised they could actually be a force for good.
