Well it's hardly got anyone in hysterics Biscuit

TheDowagerCuntess · 16/01/2019 03:57

No magic powers - I can just read what you're writing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

tryinganewname · 16/01/2019 04:07

Is this thread still going? Wow.

I love Mumsnet and how it claims to be empowering for women, but actually, it'a just full of bitching about other women.

Hinchtrolls · 16/01/2019 06:21

Sense of humour isle 5 next to the insane amount of cleaning products

WhyDontYouComeOnOver · 16/01/2019 08:15

Mumsnet isn't empowering - it's the complete opposite Grin

It's a nest of snarky women with a false sense of superiority who bitch about anyone who does anything differently to them. From playing computer games to claiming benefits. It's actually frightening that these people live among us.

KarenDarling · 16/01/2019 09:30

So why are you here then Hmm

53rdWay · 16/01/2019 09:33

Of all the vicious things that have featured on Mumsnet before I wouldn’t stick “this Instagram star uses too many chemicals” in the top 10 worst, to be honest.

WhyDontYouComeOnOver · 16/01/2019 09:35

Why am I here? Entertainment when I'm particularly ill and now an again an attempt to make some see how appalling their behaviour is.

PoisonousSmurf · 16/01/2019 09:39

Cleaning means cleaning things! Mrs Hinch only wipes and covers everything in chemicals! Urghh!

Gigglebrain · 16/01/2019 09:42

Have you tried vinegar for the loo? Works better than bleach, it’s better for you and the environment.

Conseulabananahammock · 16/01/2019 09:45

Yess!!
This thread has made my morning.
All i have to say is why the fuck is a woman famous for wiping clean stuff?
Remember back in the day when you needed an actual talent to be famous?

Abra1de · 16/01/2019 09:57

Yous can all come here and slag off her home, her personality, her coping mechanisms, what she cleans with, whatever you want but at the end of each and every day you can all lay your heads down on your pillow and remember - she is far more successful than all of you

Let’s be honest most of you on here I simply jealous of the life she leads .. if we were true to ourselves who wouldn’t want to be beautiful inside and out like she is, have a beautiful home, a good looking hubby, a large social media following, and a book and baby on the way. If we could all make money from social media if we could we would do it and if you are someone who says you wouldn’t perhaps you need to get a mirror and look a liar in the face

Thank you for these points. This is just the kind of honest kick I need for my cleaners. If I got them in for an extra half hour at night, say at 10pm, do you think it would be OK for the fabric conditioner to be left in the sink until they come back at 8.30am the next morning? Worried about damaging the ceramic finish. But the housekeeper only finishes washing up at about 9.45pm so it would be a bit of a rush for her.

Also, can you get Zoflora in Waitrose? Housekeeper is a bit fussy about supermarkets. I don't honestly mind where she shops.

If I got the cleaners to read the Instagram page would I have to pay them for their time, or is it the kind of thing they do as kind of continuous professional development?

WhyDontYouComeOnOver · 16/01/2019 10:42

if you are someone who says you wouldn’t perhaps you need to get a mirror and look a liar in the face

What a ridiculous statement. I came onto this thread to say that Mrs Hinch is harmless and slagging her off is awful but your statement is wrong, I'm afraid.

I can't think of anything worse than making money from social media. I value my career and I 100% would not ever splash myself over social media to make a quick buck. I'm not a liar, I'm a private person and it isn't for me in any way, shape or form. Shove your mirror.

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 16/01/2019 11:17

continuous professional development?

Conseulabananahammock · 16/01/2019 11:17

Yes i hear they do night courses now to get your nvq level 1 in hinching....

Ghanagirl · 16/01/2019 11:19

Who is she?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 16/01/2019 11:48

She’s a instagram personality, with over a million followers, a book deal and a slot on a popular TV programme.

She does cleaning, using a huge of different products which she names and puts to bed in the evening.

She has a dog, who has his own bedroom and is currently pregnant.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 16/01/2019 11:50

Sorry, she’s pregnant, the dog isn’t, as far I we know.

HebeMumsnet · 16/01/2019 12:15

Ahem

PattiStanger · 16/01/2019 12:43

I gather the dog is called Henry, unless that's short for Henrietta unlikely to be with pup

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 16/01/2019 12:53

I quite like Henrietta/Henry for a dog. Boxer, maybe.

sherrysfortea · 16/01/2019 15:07

@ChardonnaysPrettySister I agree, wouldn't suit a small dog I don't think

ResistanceIsNecessary · 16/01/2019 16:09

if you are someone who says you wouldn’t perhaps you need to get a mirror and look a liar in the face

Erm, projecting your own feelings much?!

No how, no way. I like my privacy and I am quite anti-social. Call me picky, but they don't strike me as particularly good qualities for social media "influencing". Not everyone wants to be "famous" 😂

TheDowagerCuntess · 16/01/2019 18:12

Why am I here? Entertainment when I'm particularly ill and now an again an attempt to make some see how appalling their behaviour is

We're beyond redemption WhyDontYouComeOnOver, honestly. I'd spare yourself the trouble. You alone are the only decent person, so you're better off just avoiding us altogether, lest you're tainted by association.

Grin
ChardonnaysPrettySister · 16/01/2019 18:18

I'm here because I'm too tired to get off my arse and do some cleaning. It's the next best thing.
