All that zoflora...so many chemicals...can't be healthy??

OP posts:
Beauwin1234 · 20/01/2019 22:53

No it is defintely not good for a baby

GlitterStick · 20/01/2019 23:07

What's not good for a baby? Cleaning?
Usually see the opposite on here. As in living in a shit tip not good for baby. Not good for cleaning is a new one.
Yes, makes sense to limit too many chemicals if that's what you're on about.

Beauwin1234 · 20/01/2019 23:46

Yes thsts what l ment too many cleaning products wouldnt be good for a newborn baby!

Smotheroffive · 21/01/2019 00:07

I'm shocked that anyone, in today's fragile environment and rising potentially fatal allergies in babies and DC, is advocating chucking around highly toxic and lethal chemicals tbh! I can't think of anything more stupid, especially as she's pregnant, a pp said?

If you can smell chemicals you've used too much.

Crawling babies need to come into contact with bacteria, how on earth else do they grow an immune system to save their lives from more harmful bugs in the wider world?

I only use chemicals down the loo, the rest is just hot soapy water. What the adverts don't tell you is that these great chemicals kill all the good bacteria dead too, and a sterile environment is as unhealthy as one full of salmonella!

Smotheroffive · 21/01/2019 00:09

Absolutely, whydontyou

debbie1990 · 21/01/2019 07:26

Glitter there's a huge gap between Mrs Hinch style cleaning, vs a "shit tip". I think the majority clean their homes to something in the middle.

I wipe over all the surfaces every night with an antibac, clean the bathroom a couple of times a week, bleach the sink every few days, run the Hoover round most days etc. sterilizing your home covering everything with Zoflora, spraying everything with Lenor, carpet fresheners etc. has little benefit to children and is likely to leave them more susceptible to allergies and asthma. The amount of aerosols and room fresheners alone makes me feel wheezy!

Knittedgnome · 21/01/2019 11:42

DS and I can walk down a cleaning products isle without sneezing and wheezing.

I can't believe she's inflicting that on an unborn baby and really hope she lays off once the babies born.

Villainess · 21/01/2019 11:49

Hot soapy water and a micro fibre cloth.
A Flash spray for the hob.
Some Mr Muscle for the mirrors.
A bottle of Toilet Duck.
Some nice almondy smelling thing for the floors.

That's my sum total of cleaning products.

I'd worry about these cleaning enthusiasts mixing cleaning products and not realising it can be a really hazardous thing to do.

Beauwin1234 · 21/01/2019 12:42

The trouble is shes using these products now and they cant be good for an unborn baby

Carols2000 · 23/01/2019 01:40

And it starts all over again, so what's new ,we all clean don't we? I just don't get it 😏 She must be laughing all the way to the bank😂

YourFly · 23/01/2019 02:13

I agree a microfibre cloth & hot soapy water is adequate.

If all the Zoflora ran out tomorrow, I doubt 100% of the followers would switch to throwing Dettol around instead.

No one needs to disinfect their house that much.

Platypusfattypus · 23/01/2019 16:03

I do like Mrs Hinch and totally support her milking this for all she can (as it won’t last). If I could make money out of spraying lenor on my sofa I’d totally do that. I don’t use her tips and do fast forward her putting her dog to bed every damn night (that’s getting very old) but she does make me laugh.

But some of her supporters don’t do themselves any favours judging by some of the replies on here.

Beauwin1234 · 23/01/2019 19:45

Well it looks like the baby is gonna have the grey theme too grey elephant toy, grey muslins, something grey shes gonna crochet, grey clothes poor little boy void of colour lol

Carols2000 · 25/01/2019 10:31

"Poor little boy " I think not, they must be filthy rich with so many freebies they don't even need the money, I doubt she cares about the colour .....

Nat6999 · 25/01/2019 13:08

Mrs Hinch & all the other "cleaning goddesses" are only making money because it's the flavour of the month. Give it a couple of years & they will all be vanishing in to oblivion. I can't get over the number of people who are now buying cleaning products in bulk, there isn't a day goes by without someone popping up on my Instagram feed showing a cupboard stacked like supermarket shelves with products, "I've got 20 bottles of bleach, 50 bottles of Zoflora, 10 sets of stainless steel cleaner, 200 microfiber cloths, 15 bottles of washing up liquid & enough washing powder for a year & I've saved a tenner" brigade. Years ago our mothers didn't need 20 different cleaning products, bleach, vim, washing powder, polish & washing up liquid was all that they used, they didn't wreck the environment, everything was clean & they didn't feel the need to tell the world about it.

Smotheroffive · 25/01/2019 13:15

Nat omg!!! What is the matter with people? Is that for real, the figures you quoted I mean? That someone could ever think its OK to have 50 bottle of a cleaning product.

They are unwell and don't realise! If anyone can't see how obsessive that is...its like any kind of hoarding as a form of emotional displacement. There is just no way in the world thats ok.

Beauwin1234 · 27/01/2019 13:31

Well mrs hinch is in hospital again and shes still telling her hinchers to zoflora which is another ad no mention how she is or coming out of hospital

DaisyDreaming · 27/01/2019 13:50

What are the rumblings on her sudden rise to fame

Smotheroffive · 27/01/2019 15:55

Sadly, 'MrsHinch' is owned by the awful chemical magnates of the world, and her rise or fall is dependent upon her slavery to chemical promotion despite the world choking on chemicals and plastics

Smotheroffive · 27/01/2019 15:57

..and word up to @TheDowagerCuntess

finks100 · 27/01/2019 16:22

She has already had a warning from the ASA about not declaring ads, she needs to mark #ad!

TrixieFranklin · 27/01/2019 16:46

Lynsey Queen Of Clean posted these earlier about what she's been told must be declared as an #AD, so I imagine it's the same for MrsHinch.
