I don't want "realistic" boring cleaning tips.
I like people who motivate me through fun/personality and nice houses, as in want my house to be nice too. Not time slottted this is what you should be doing - me - fk offffff lol

@GlitterStick you are heavily invested in defending her

@MitziK as a cat owner that terrified me!!
If I use it I make sure the cat is outside until
It dries

I unfollowed her shortly after following her. How many times can you watch someone clean an already clean sink with too much products and say "yeeeeessss maaaatttte" or
"Smells amazin'"
I find the product hoarding she has inspired bizarre too. Worse though was some of her 'army' trolling poor Gemma Bray (TOMM) I don't think Mrs Hinch seemed to do anything to discourage it either.

All the best to her though, she's obviously appealing to lots of people.

@Notso the hinch army thing is just beyond a joke
Her stories are just constant adverts and swipe ups

@ernestandjuliogallo how do you get to there? From someone expressing a differing opinion over a couple of posts? Confused

All she does is clean things that are already clean. I find her stories and the phrases she uses very cringey

A) who is mrs hinch and why do we care about her

B) wtf is a ‘grid’ and why does it matter if it’s grey?

Report
GlitterStick · 13/01/2019 02:13

Trying to answer all the questions without sending you to sleep lol!

Mrs Hinch - Instagrammer posting videos inspiring people to clean.

A grid is basically the IG version of a FB feed.
It doesn't matter if it's grey. Lots of people moan though if it is as they want more colour.

Her immaculate house just made me feel depressed about my own home so I unfollowed her!

I’d prefer more cleaning tips than just wipe everything with toxic smelly chemicals (that do NOT go well with morning sickness 😷)! I will look st this Lindsay though thanks 👍🏻

Not living in the UK, I wasn't sure who she was so I googled her.

I was reading the other day about her method for cleaning the kitchen sink. It was like fairy and fabric conditioner and boiling water and then you leave it to soak, topping up with more boiling water from the kettle, for the next four hours ! I clean my sink with cif and a sponge and it takes like 30 seconds.

LoudJazzHands that's why TOMM is better, it involves only 30 mins a day😁

I quite like watching her tbh 🙈

To me it's the equivalent of kids watching other kids play with toys on YouTube. I sit here, looking at mess, watching her clean.

I really don't get why she hoards cleaning products? What the hell does she shit for her to need to scrub her loo so often? And does she eat anything other than speghetti hoops? 😂😂

I bet she is having a massive laugh at the amount of money she has made. I imagine her merrily chucking any old chemical down her brand new/spotless sink and then saying to her husband “let’s see if those idiots like this weird combination!”.

You have to admire her. She has managed to whip so many people into a frenzy. Best of all, she has managed to make cleaning a house where everything is brand new look like as much effort as a house that has older skirting/carpets. Yes! Your house will look like hers if you scrub it with all her chemicals! No....no it really won’t.

I think she has landed on her feet and is pushing it to make as much money as she can. And Baby Hinch opens a new MASSIVE market for her. Imagine all the yummy mummies desperately buying all her maternity wear (she is gorgeous after all).

Well done Mrs Hinch - you have really spun a brilliant business. I’d have done the same if I’d had the chance!

I oh and I must admit the two products she introduced me to were a degreaser for bath scum (really works) and I actually love zoflora. It has replaced my usual disinfectant in a watered down bottle so is much cheaper. I don’t chuck it around the way she does though.

These comments on the dangers of zoflora are worrying!! I will have to get rid of it!!

I don’t understand, her cleaning tips are the equivalent of reading the back of the pack. However, she’s successful for it so fair play, even if it leaves me scratching my head 😬

I use e-clothes with hot water and sometimes with a bit of detergent.
My home is clean, I don't need a cocktail of toxic vapour and artificial smells to tell me it's clean.

I’ve just watched one of the stories. She seems nice but why is she cleaning her lovely clean house?!

I don't get all the hype to be honest... and I do find it very cringy when people call themselves 'hinchers' but good luck to her and each to their own. I just don't follow her... can I ask what does TOMM stand for?
