To ask if/when you finish for Christmas

Sitting here eagerly awaiting 5pm when I'm off work for the rest of December! Using up all my annual leave so I'll regret it in a few months but hey ho! Do you get a Christmas break? If so, how long are you taking

I normally do not book time off over Christmas, but this year I have left over leave to get used up before year-end, so I finish on Tuesday 18th until the new year (well the 3rd actually).

I cannot wait, although the children are a miffed I finish before them this year .

I'm only off for the bank holidays this year.

I'm on maternity leave but when at work, I finish dinnertime on the Wednesday before Xmas and go back after new year - always save annual leave for this.

DH's new place of work closes for xmas and new year so it's the first time he's had it off aside from the bank holiday days

I finish on Friday 21st and will be off until 2nd January.

Only a week to go

I have worked Christmas and New Year for the last 20 odd years and now I'm semi retired and self employed I'm having a whole week off from Friday. Yipeeee!

I finish next Thurs 20th and off till 2nd Jan.

I only do Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and I'm taking a days holiday Thursday so after Wednesday will be me till 8th January.

DS broke up today. I finish 21st at 2 and go back 2nd January.
Wish I’d taken a bit longer off tbh. Dreaming of 2 weeks in the Carribean next Christmas when it falls so I can have 2 weeks off for 3 days annual leave. Just need to convince DH/DS/Dparents.

I finish on the 19th and go back on the 7th. I love working part time in a school!

So excited Friday 21 at 11.30am! Then off until the 7th. Only have to use 2.5days annual leave!

Finish at 5pm on 23rd and back on 7th January. Just the way my days fall, yay!

I finish 5pm Christmas eve, to go back in the 27th and 8am. I teach in a prison! No leave for us.

We're not allowed time off over Christmas and new year.

So I finish work on December 24th at 6pm, back in 10am Boxing Day.

Im a teacher. We break up at lunch time next Fri until 7th Jan.
I would rather have finished today and gone back earlier but hey-ho!

Clerical worker in the NHS, so I get the bank holidays and the rest will be taken out of my annual leave. I’m finishing on Christmas Eve for a week and I can’t wait! It’ll be the longest Christmas break I’ve had in years!

My last day is Monday but my boss is giving me a major guilt trip about it. I told him I can work nights from home while on holiday but in the daytime can’t because I’m looking after my kids. He’s now huffing and puffing about it but I’m sticking to my guns (but did have a little cry because he made me feel terrible). 🙁

I finish 13.00 on Thursday and return on Monday 7th Jan. I work pt, never Fridays.
Last year, i worked 27th, 28th, 29th all day (different p.t hours). So im glad to be off. Plus i detest my job.

I work less hours in the holidays anyway but have booked off the week between Xmas and New Year, plus Xmas Eve. I don’t work Fridays so am off from pm on 20/12 to 2 Jan.

I actually have Christmas day off for once which is nice. Although my shift on Christmas eve runs into the early hours of christmas day, but at least im not going back in that night!

DS finishes at bout 2pm on Christmas Eve and is back in at 4am on 26th. So he'll be having an early night on Christmas Day!

About 7 pm on Christmas Eve. Work again on the 27th.
