Do you think he does? Does he admit it? My man reckons he doesn't but deep down we both know it's a lie!

Arrg..SOME men that genuinely DON'T watch it.

(Probably haven't got smart phones).

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 04/12/2018 15:21

I'd probably be worried if he didn't watch porn haha it'd mean he's gone off sex
What a bizarre thing to say.

It was a light hearted question where we could all giggle about the men who say they don't watch porn. I thought that was obvious

That would only work if we all believed, like you, that men are wired to like porn. That's simply not true.

glamglamgirl · 04/12/2018 15:27

Men are wired that way. If a straight man sees a girl in a short skirt and high heels do you think he wouldn't look twice?

Chardeemacdennis1 · 04/12/2018 15:35

It's a stereotype that all men are sex obsessed perverts.

My dh has a healthy sex drives but he doesn't letch other women and he doesn't watch porn, apart from when he was a teen. Some men actually respect women belive it or not.

How do you think men coped before easy access to porn, they used their imagination.

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 04/12/2018 15:35

Men aren't wired that way. Society tells us they are not biology.

If a straight man sees a girl in a short skirt and high heels do you think he wouldn't look twice?
Oh dear....how to respond to this? You need to find yourself some better male role models if you think this is acceptable behaviour.

ImNotReallyAWaitress · 04/12/2018 15:39

My DH does, yes. He’s discrete about it, I only know as we have discussed it, he’s never actually watched it in front of me.
He also knows I sometimes watch it too.

BillyAndTheSillies · 04/12/2018 15:43

DH watches it. He's always watched it. We used to watch it together but I've gone off it a bit, I've probably just read too many articles/seen too many documentaries about how horrible it can be to work in the industry.
He doesn't pressure me to do anything he sees in porn and is adult enough to realise that it's not real life and the people are actors/performers.

RiverTam · 04/12/2018 15:45

No, never.

I have gone looking in the past. I can't unsee what I saw. I would never ever watch it now, it's filmed rape, by and large. I certainly never saw a woman looking like she was actually enjoying what was being done to her.

Alann01 · 04/12/2018 15:46

We both do, sometimes together

RomanyRoots · 04/12/2018 15:46

Of course men look at women they find attractive and they are wired this way.
it doesn't mean they are obsessed with sex or perverts, it might oly happen once a week or month.

As for porn it's been readily available for centuries, there is a full museum of porn and sex, in Amsterdam, going back centuries.
There has always been a format for porn.

Patriciathestripper1 · 04/12/2018 15:47

Yes not very often and so do I

KellyW88 · 04/12/2018 15:48

I only ask he remembers to clear the search history when done as whilst I don’t mind it - I don’t want to know exactly what he searches for :’) shared mobile situation - not a family computer or anything equally inappropriate lol

Lollipop30 · 04/12/2018 15:49

Not a clue, not with me about anyway. Can’t say I’m too bothered.

Chardeemacdennis1 · 04/12/2018 15:50

Agreed, but most men would not go to a peep show, they might view a naughty postcard or sketch but it's not really on par with the harcore stuff that anyone can view on their phone in just a couple of seconds.

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 04/12/2018 15:51

He does. Doesn't really bother me and there have been occasions where we've watched together.

Every relationship is different. Some people don't really like it, some are happy for them to.

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 04/12/2018 15:53

No, men are not wired this way. Just in the same way women aren't wired this way. Men and women find people attractive but saying men are wired in a particular way is just an an excuse for misogynistic behaviour.

LuckyAmy1986 · 04/12/2018 15:54

Men are wired that way. If a straight man sees a girl in a short skirt and high heels do you think he wouldn't look twice? ew. Not all men are like that. And I don’t believe all that ALL men watch porn. My DH does on the very odd occasion.

bludgertothehead · 04/12/2018 15:58

Probably and I couldn't care if he did.
I watch it too!

anniehm · 04/12/2018 16:01

Yes, he's discreet and mostly doesn't these days. He's tried to introduce me to it but it's a turn off for me. Might be a bit generational - we've had computers at home since early 20's so very accessible, I think he would rather watch other things these days being older

lily2403 · 04/12/2018 16:01

yes they all do it...if they say they don't they lie

and one of the reasons you don't know about it..."its a dealbreaker for me"

me and my DH have a very active sex life, he looks at porn, i look at it...so just because you have a good sex life doesn't mean he wont look at it

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 04/12/2018 16:05

lily2403 So you've met, and had this conversation, with ALL men?? Or are you making an assumption based on your personal experience?

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 04/12/2018 16:06

Mine does, not often I don't think but I am not worried either way. Hasn't affected our sex life (having a child did that!!). It really doesn't bother me, I think it's fairly normal.

WinklemansFringe · 04/12/2018 16:11

"No, never.

God knows what you were looking at then...

HostaFireAndIce · 04/12/2018 16:11

It was a light hearted question where we could all giggle about the men who say they don't watch porn. I thought that was obvious

So my first answer "So why did you ask the question, OP? Just so you could lol at us poor naïve fools who believe that our husbands don't watch porn." was correct then. No need for the confused face.

MindBodyChocolate · 04/12/2018 16:11

Oh my god. Reading your comments glamglamgirl with your ‘lols’ ‘haha’ and ‘giggles’ make me feel like I’m in a parallel universe. My dp doesn’t watch porn. He doesn’t like it.

Let’s all piss ourselves laughing at this. A man, saying he doesn’t watch porn. Lol.
