For being pissed off that a fb 'friend' is selling (what are clearly) stolen supermarket items on face book?

Someone on my friends list has begun selling an array of super market items, mainly cleaning products, baby milk, cheese and coffee, on her face book page and it's fairly obvious she's either stolen these items her self, or is selling them on behalf of someone else.

There's numerous photos of the products and messages from other's asking her for her prices and offering to buy whatever.
I'm really disgusted by this and hate thieves, and I'm thinking of screen shotting everything and reporting her to the Police (anonymously though)

Is there any point?. I can't 'proove' where these items are from after all, but I'm livid that this c.f. has the nerve to deal with stolen goods and sell them online!
What would you do in this situation?

How do you know 100% that the items are stolen?

I abhor thieves but I would tread very carefully with this.......

If I was sure they were stolen, I'd send it all to Crimestoppers.

Or post "where are you getting all this from" on her page...........

I don't think you can do anything unless she tells you she stole them. Why are you assuming that she did?

I don't think it's that much a of a jump Pidlan, those items are the most stolen items from supermarkets as they can be expensive.

I'm not 100% certain, but I can't see why someone would sell 'three jars of nescafe' , 'four dishwasher tablet packs' 'four cheeses', 'two expensive plug ins' etc.
All half price.

Is she a heroin addict? Repeated shoplifting seems an awful lot of trouble for a normal person to go to just for a couple of quid.

I’d be thinking she had some sort of Costco/wholesalers trade going on.

Of course they're stolen, why else would you buy extra of these items just to sell online? I get the baby milk, if your dc doesn't need it anymore but why have excess coffee and cheese?

You'd have to be a special kind of stupid to sell stolen goods on Facebook and leave all the evidence there for when she gets caught, but it sounds like these items probably are stolen, unless they come from somewhere like Home Bargains, where certain items can be much cheaper than supermarkets? Or is she providing a service in an area where there are no cheap supermarkets nearby and people generally have to rely on expensive local shops?

But people do sell stolen goods openly on FB etc. DP is always looking for second hand bike bits and he once showed me a photo of a man stood holding an expensive mountain bike, dressed like a typical burglar - dark scruffy clothing, baseball cap and scarf pulled over his face. It would not have been clearer if he was holding a sign stating 'I've just stolen this bike'.

If you can't prove it, there's nothing to be done.

How come she's on your friend list? She doesn't sound like someone you'd want to be friendly with, so can't you just block her or whatever you do on FB (don't use it myself).

I’d be more worried that the likes of the baby formula and cleaning products are counterfeit.
