I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.

Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, 1 rasher of grilled bacon, 1 round of multiseed toast, a banana, a large caramel latte

Dinner: chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice

Snacks: crisps or parmesan and garlic twists

Not too bad so far. Porridge banana and seeds.
Snack of homemade apple pudding.
Not sure about dinner yet.
It's so much effort to eat healthy. Breakfast is easy but lunch and dinner difficult.
I sometimes make veg soup to freeze in portions for lunches.

Porridge with half a banana

A pret protein box (egg, broccoli, chicken and avo) plus a prey popcorn bar

Half a chicken thigh

Americano with skimmed milk

Breakfast: Handful of blueberries with lactose-free yoghurt and flaxseeds on top, a hot water with lemon, and then a black coffee

Mid-morning snack: Square of dark chocolate, a rice cracker, and a chamomile tea

Lunch: spiralised courgette with pesto and cherry tomatoes

Dinner: Not 100% sure yet but probably baked chicken thighs with roasted peppers and a little bit of red quinoa.

I've recently discovered I'm fructose and lactose intolerant, which means I'm on a low FODMAP diet for 8 weeks, so I am SCREAMINGLY proud of my menu for today! When I first got the diagnosis and my list of things I couldn't eat I figured I'd be existing on rice crackers alone... Grin

I'm also really trying to up my water intake, so I've prepared lots of bottles in the fridge with cucumber in one, mint in another, raspberries in another... have had about 2 litres already and am seriously weirding out my family with a LOT of trips to the bathroom....

Yesterday was:

B - Wholemeal roll with spreadable brie, cappuccino.
S - Banana
L - Wholemeal roll with smoked salmon, Babybel, pineapple juice
S - handful of M&Ms, cappuccino
T - Buffalo sausages, garlicy crushed potatoes, green beans
S - A couple of chocolate truffles, a handful of plain Pringles.

Fairly standard weekday for me.

Filter coffees, nuts & fruit toast for breakfast. Lunch was cream cheese on crackers. Making a tikka Masala later.

breakfast - handful of all bran with a benecol little drink thing, a handful of fruit and some low fat yogurt all glooped together
lunch - home made soup (mostly butternut squash) with a slice of toast and butter
for supper - will be treating myself to a Big Mac while driving to a conference I hope Grin

Maintaining big weight loss so....
Oat weetabix berries and yoghurt baked in oven. Weight watchers wrap pizza with green salad, crisps and 4 pieces fruit. Dinner will be vegetable lasagne and stewed apple and berry with oats and grape nut topping with low fat ice cream. Working the night shift and will have 4 pieces fruit , Broghies and peanut butter about midnight.

So far today I’ve had two cups of tea and a piece of bread with peanut butter and jam. I’m about to make a smoothie and then I’m making mango chicken curry with dahl and brown rice for dinner.

I like this thread; it’s helped me steer clear of the snacks today!

Today was a large fruit salad with quark.

Lunch was a mishmash if boiled eggs, beef, carrots, tomatoes, pickled onions, strawberries and kiwi berries.

Dinner is Pizza topped turkey which is a turkey steak with tomato purée and cheese on top. If I can be bothered mushrooms too. Wedges and some boiled veggies.

Have snacked on fruit all day.

My menu for today -
Slice of wholemeal toast, baked beans and a poached egg. Banana.
Porridge.
Prawn cocktail, salad, new potatoes.
Will have a slice of toast and marmalade when if I'm peckish in the evening.

Cajun chicken slices packet (6 slices)
Caramel Protein bar

2 turkey burgers
Bagel

75g of pasta
200g beef
Half a jar of Aldis Tomato and Pepper stir in pasta sauce

2 apples

1,931 calories
167g protein
180g carbohydrates
58g fat

I have a massive cold at the moment and can't really taste anything unfortunately! But so far today I've had:

Breakfast- Cinnamon & raisin bagel thin w/ vegan butter, black coffee & some grapes.

Snack- bowl of sliced nectarine, blueberries, some almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts & dried apricots.

Dinner will be: Spinach & ricotta tortellinis w/ pasta sauce and a nice side salad with French dressing. :)

Dinner-Spaghetti with spring onions, peas, Brussels sprouts, garlic, lemon and chili.

I’m struggling to stay good too 😫. I used to be so good, I don’t know what’s happened!

Today I’ve had a tuna, cheese and tomato wrap (wholemeal) and then I added in a bit of Victoria sponge 🙈. Tonight dinner is Cajun chicken and prawn pasta. Kids are going to have cookie dough and ice cream and fruit and I’ll try not to 🙊

Feeling a bit better today:

B - Porridge with pumpkin spice flavourings, pear, raisins and a big dollop of Greek yoghurt
L - Omelette with ham, mushrooms, tomatoes and red leicester cheese. Salad.
D - Lamb hotpot soup, chunk of baguette

Loads of water, tea & coffee.

Maybe a little chocolate later, I have mini Toblerones.

Two sandwiches, a small handful of cashews, a satsuma, some rocky road. I'm making dutch green pea soup for tonight and had a secret nibble on a bit of the smoked cooked sausage that goes into that.

I'm trying to be "good" in the week to allow for all out abandonment at the weekend, so today has been 2 slices of peanut butter on toast.
Several cups of tea.

Dinner will be warm chicken salad and couscous.

  • 200g pot of Greek style yogurt mixed with small pack (approx 150g) blueberries. Topped with a teaspoon of honey
  • mixed salad with pepper, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes mixed with a tin of tuna in a little oil
  • grilled fish with potatoe, sprouts and carrots. A bit of coleslaw on the side.

I'm out tonight so might end having a naughty snack, but:

B: greek yoghurt with raspberry & blueberry, nectarine & Brazil nuts

L: kedgeree without boiled eggs, an orange & 3 sq of dark chocolate

Snacks: mixed nuts & a cacao bliss ball late afternoon

S: tomato salad with dressing, kiwi.

Drinks: water, green tea, 1 glass of white tonight.

May have some crisps later if feeling naughty.
