I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.
Thanks Grin

An apple
4 avocados (they all ripened at the same time)
2 lumps of cheese with red peppers and tomatoes
2 Werthers originals sweets

LadyMetroland · 01/10/2018 21:14

Quite surprising how many people don't eat carbs.

Pretendingtobe · 01/10/2018 21:19

Ha!
I had a nice healthy cereal bar for breakfast.
2 pieces of fruit late morning.
Super healthy noodles for lunch.
Then a whole baked pork shoulder with a Greek salad and garlic mushrooms just now.
It was yummy, and don't care....! Grin

moolady1977 · 01/10/2018 21:25

Not a great food day for me today
B: mug of tea and a pain au chocolate
D: can of energy drink, wispa and a twirl then 2 cups of tea
T:4 chicken strips chips and a cup of tea
Now I'm up waiting for the dd to get home and just fancy some super noodles.

mamaduckbone · 01/10/2018 21:30

Porridge with raspberries and a bit of brown sugar for breakfast.

Homemade sweet potato and red pepper soup for lunch.

2 apples

Spaghetti bolognaise and a big salad for dinner, and a yoghurt for pudding.

Too much tea and coffee (decaf though) to drink and not enough water. I find it really hard to drink cold drinks when I’m cold.

UnderHerEye · 01/10/2018 21:31

Well I think I win for most boring food of the day !

B- porridge (made with whole milk) and 2 cups of tea
S- milky coffee
L-cheese and tomato toastie and apple
S- bread and jam and cup of tea
T- spag Bol
P- gingerbread biscuit and cup of tea

And that’s a good representation of my daily eating to be honest- boring but keeps me happy !

Reading some of these answers does make me think some people live off tiny amounts of food, I would be seriously grumpy if I ate so little!

firef1y · 01/10/2018 21:31

FoofFighter · 01/10/2018 21:36

Porridge with blueberries and apple made with almond milk

Cauliflower cheese pasta with spinach and bacon strips

Beef olive, potatoes, swede, carrots, gravy

Yogurt and two boiled eggs as snacks

MinaPaws · 01/10/2018 21:36

Not great today. Very carby comfort eating after a bereavement.
Weetabix and 3 coffees for breakfast
Humous with crusty white bread, an apple and a slice of spiced apple cake for lunch
bag of crisps and 2 cups of tea for snacks
Macaroni cheese with green beans and roast tomatoes then a chocolate mousse for tea with 2 glasses of water

I'd not even have noticed how rubbish that is until you asked. That's barely 3 of my 5 a day and only 2 glasses of water.
Going to drink another two glasses right now. Should go back to MFP.

Purplejay · 01/10/2018 21:43
