I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.

Busy day today.

Breakfast
Peanut butter on wholemeal bread- fruit salad
Lunch- Small baked potato with cheese and sweetcorn
Snack- an apple
Dinner - beans on toast.

Today was a light day food wise.

I'm not a vegetarian and I'm not on a diet.

two eggs with some cheese
two scones with butter
a sausage roll
a piece of chocolate cake.

I can’t help notice that people who are for whatever reason on a very healthy regime are pretty keen to post . Either through dieting or a natural will of steel Grin

In my pre diet days it would have been

Large porridge

Biscuits and crisps from work cupboard
Maybe some nuts

Lunch with some vegetables and carbs
Then maybe leftovers from catered lunch Blush

Mid afternoon cake and biscuits

Large pasta
Chocolate
3 large white wines

Breakfast I had 2 slices of 50/50 with olive spread and coffee.

Lunch a cup of coffee and 2 bananas (I went back to bed when the youngest went to nursery in the morning and slept until about 1.30 then had to go out so didn't really have time for anything else).

Dinner I have just had a salad (rocket, lambs lettuce, cucumber, strawberries, pine nuts, celery and a balsamic glaze) and a southern fried chicken thigh.

I have sipped on water throughout the day.

I have a wispa gold for later if I fancy it and I probably will eat it to get rid of the flavour of iron supplement that I am taking which is vile!

My diet is normally far worse than this - this is my bid to try and aim for a slightly healthy diet as I am really struggling with fatigue at the minute - not sure if it is very healthy but it had more green than normal! 😂

@stopfuckingshoutingatme Grin when I was in 20/21 I worked as a bartender and my eating habits were shocking. I would be in bed until about 10am, have no breakfast, just eat crisps and drink coke all day at work. Have a free meal on my break (usually a burger or similar) and then straight to the nightclub after work to just drink.

I look back fondly on those days though.

3 shots espresso, Greek yoghurt and mixed berries

banana, cashews and pistachios

Enough pasta carbonara for at least 35 people, red wine

Other drinks: water, iced tea

Breakfast: 3 chocolate wheatabix with 1% milk
Mid morning snack: cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks.
Lunch: ham, tomato and salad cream sandwich.
Mid afternoon snack: 2 chicken tikka breasts.
Dinner: hot and spicy chicken wrap.
Evening snack: 2 slices of toast with low fat cheese spread triangle.

1730 calories in total!

Ham and cheese toastie this afternoon then a chicken and mushroom risotto with roasted garlic for dinner.
Had a pack of riesen chocolate chews too.

So, I ended up having:

B: a slice of toasted banana bread, a banana, a large caramel latte

L: slow-cooked butter chicken, rice and naan bread, a 500ml bottle of Coke

S: crisps

Well breakfast was a oatmeal affair for the kids. Lunch was ham (yellow sticker had to be eaten today) sandwiches and fruit for the ones at home. Dinner was freezer chicken (defrosted from last night) with a can of chopped tomatoes and a stand ‘n’ stuff box of soft tacos/spices and cucumber sticks and bottom of the fridge carrots (peeled and sliced into sticks). Have to say it was really delicious.

Dinner - leftover pastitsio with a bottle of chianti

Ooh I love this! Today was ok actually - breakfast boiled egg on whole meal toast, lunch a Covent Garden soup, dinner cod with pest and diced potatoes and some veg. However yesterday was literally nothing til dinner - then dinner was wine and a ready meal jalfreizi - so it does change 😂

Bad food day for me:

Breakfast: decaf coffee, 2 fruit teas
Lunch: Banana, apple, hummus and pitta bread
Dinner: a tonne of cheese and crackers

Snacks: about to have kale crisps shortly and will probably have some crudités and tzatziki dip
