I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.
Thanks Grin

To redress yesterday's pie based troughing, today is fast (5:2) day. Egg sandwich for pret for lunch and weightwatchers risotto for tea, for just under 700 cals. Am so hungry my dogs are starting to look tempting 😉

Breakfast - porridge with a banana, glass of orange juice and 2 hard boiled eggs.

Lunch - chicken salad sandwich, packet of crisps, some grapes and a Dairy milk bar.

Snack when I got home - one of DS's ice lollies Grin

Dinner - fish pie with cheesy mash and veg.

Drinks - water, 2 cups of tea and one latte at about 7pm.

This is a fairly typical day for me although I eat a bit more crap at the weekends. I have a big sweet tooth and have chocolate every day, but just one small bar.

Lowcarbing here.
Black coffee x 5 through day
3 egg cheese omelette
Chicken mayo salad with coleslaw
Leftover mixed grill - a sausage, some gammon, tomato, mushroom - before going to the gym
Ham salad with a bit of mayo after holding pads for kids to punch then doing muay thai drills til 9pm.
I need some more easy low carb recipes- salads are great but not all the time!

Racheyg · 03/10/2018 08:13

I have to add 3 slabs of chocolate and 3 rice teas to my list.

Today I plan:
0% fat Greek yogurt with banana s blueberries

Snack - pink lady
Lunch- soup
Snack - boiled eggs
Dinner - mixed bean chilli with kale and broccoli

Will snack on peanut butter and corn cakes Blush

KinCat · 03/10/2018 08:29

Breakfast: Yakult, rock cake and a cup of tea

Lunch: Rice noodles with dark sauce, pork and vegetables

Dinner: Can't remember what we're having - probably rice, meat and vegetables/salad with a variety of fruit for afterwards

Drinks: Water throughout the day and decaf tea before bed

Snacks: Ice-cream when I get home (probably a mini magnum but might go for a full size mars one)

My diet isn't too bad. I could definitely do with eating more vegetables and fewer simple carbohydrates but I don't overdo it on processed sugar/fats and my weight is healthy and stable.

I love how healthy everyone is Grin

Would love to see some less healthy ones

I have just lost 3 stone so have realised I cannot , sadly , return to gluttony

VerbenaGirl · 03/10/2018 13:42

I’ve not felt too well - and as always when i’m under the weather, i’ve only really fancied jacket potatoes with cheese. All very beige. I might have ice cream for tea!

Celebelly · 03/10/2018 13:45

I've just eaten three packs of Pom Bears and a marshmallow if that helps, @stopfuckingshoutingatme

EdinaMonsoon · 03/10/2018 13:50

I spent most of September in a "can't be arsed to eat properly" state of mind and felt awful. I was bloated and lethargic. You think you are treating yourself with biscuits & crisps etc but actually I end up feeling so crappy that it just isn't worth it. I genuinely prefer eating super healthy. For one thing the flavours are so good. And as you say OP, the buffet of beige is just not inspirational at all.

Breakfast: Cranberry & nectarine smoothie made with almond milk & vegan protein (yes, I am THAT much of a wanker Grin )

Snack: Pumpkin Spice Mini Muffins (flourless, GF etc)

Lunch: Roast squash salad

Snack: A piece of fruit & handful of nuts

Supper: Salmon with steamed veg

serbska · 03/10/2018 13:53

Breakfast was Greek yoghurt, walnuts and berries. Lunch was an egg white omelette and a bag of quinoa bites that my DC didn’t want after I’d opened them Blush and dinner will either be a chicken and butternut squash bake or paella. I’ll probably end up eating some chocolate around 9pm too!
