There used to be a red boost chocolate bar, I think it was a coconut type thing.
Miss that.

Elllicam · 02/08/2018 18:58

There used to be a frozen food vegetable lattice thing, it was like ratatouille in pastry. It was lovely. Also vegetable Kiev’s.

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 18:59

They still do the Sara Lee gateaux.

I miss Trio bars, the Vegetable Deluxe burger they used to sell in McDonalds, those little Puff crisps that were miniscule, hollow tunes of beefy glory and the cheap frozen pizzas in the shape of feet.

vampirethriller · 02/08/2018 18:59

Secret bars, Vice Versas, Pretzel Flips (I think that's what they were called.)
There used to be a Pavlova type frozen dessert called Romantica which my mother always got in if grandparents were coming for Sunday tea, it was lovely.

tissuesosoft · 02/08/2018 19:00

@vampirethriller the pretzels are sold in Asda and Tesco now

ballroompink · 02/08/2018 19:01

You can still get Pretzel Flipz! They have them at my local Asda.

You can get Trios, I found them in Asda

I miss Romantica, an ice cream gateaux type thing, we always had it whenever we had visitors

Bluesheep8 · 02/08/2018 19:04

I remember that chocolate gateau, miss it too! Also I remember biscuits called lemon puffs...rectangular and kind of shiny with lemon flavoured "cream" like that in custard creams in the middle. Oooh and those other biscuits, also rectangular which were Orange or pink and had 6 splodges of coconut sprinkled marshmallow on, 3 on each side with a line of jam down the middle - loved those! By the way, I nostalgically bought a tin of butterscotch Angel delight from Aldi last week and an delighted (no pun intended!) To report that it's JUST THE SAME AS I REMEMBER!! Happy days Grin

ProudThrilledHappy · 02/08/2018 19:05

In the noughties Tesco used to sell this amazing massive tray bake, it was heavenly

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 19:05

No way!

I'll be buying Trios tomorrow then!

I also miss those chewy sweets that were all kept in an orange net bag. They used to sell them in Woollies.

LlamaPyjamas · 02/08/2018 19:06

The cornflake tart we used to have at school. It was pastry with jam and cornflakes, and it came with pink custard. Also the Fry’s Five Centre bars!

Mamamiaherewegoagainmymy · 02/08/2018 19:06

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 19:06

A word of warning.

Findus minced beef and onion crispy pancakes are NOT THE SAME.

They've taken all the bad things out and now they are horrid Sad

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 02/08/2018 19:09
