Oh and push pops!

purplecorkheart · 02/08/2018 20:35

Cabury used to do an banoffee bar around 2000 - 2005, loved them. Sky ice cream bars. Findus beef and onion pancakes of the 90's (not the ones available now). Sparkle ice pops (frozen orange juice)

LuxuryWoman2018 · 02/08/2018 20:36

We have garlic mini bread snacks in our corner shop but I've had them from poundland and B&M they're not phileas fogg but in an italian looking package. Very good and might hit the spot for those missing them.

Worlds0kayestmum · 02/08/2018 20:36

Another one for Birds Hot Crunch Pudding, it makes me feel nostalgic thinking about it

Also Fiendish Feet yoghurt, Mars Delight bars and Secret bars. I was also partial to a spira bar

Passthecake30 · 02/08/2018 20:38

I miss Lyons cup cakes, pacers, ready salted chopsticks, apple and choc chips chewy harvest crunch

Passthecake30 · 02/08/2018 20:38

Twofer · 02/08/2018 20:38

I loved Fiendish Feet yogurts!! Wish they’d come back

EggysMom · 02/08/2018 20:39

Mint choc Angel Delight can still be purchased as Asda (alongside the Butterscotch).

Frozen tubs of mousse with cardboard lids - pretty sure I've bought them from either Tesco or Iceland in the last five years ....

Pound store Pacers? Seriously - you can buy Pacers (or an equivalent) again? Lead me to the pound store in question Grin

Bambamber · 02/08/2018 20:42

The big bags of tiny bits of honeycomb covered in chocolate. I think they were called crunched nuggets. I know you can get big chunks but I like the mini ones. I may have to make some now.

Also, not from my childhood, but Worcester sauce twiglets

OkMaybeNot · 02/08/2018 20:44

The buttery polos Sad

OkMaybeNot · 02/08/2018 20:45

And citrus sharp polos too!

MistyReturns · 02/08/2018 20:45

Balisto chocolate bars (don’t miss the advert for them though). No one I know remembers them.
A choc ice called “nutty”
Another vote for the raspberry ripple frozen mousse (Although I ate them still frozen for years - my mom didn’t realise you were meant to defrost them).
Pizza flavoured crisps.
A little tiny freezer shop at the top of our market (and it was a huge market). Used to sell frozen Chinese meals. They all tasted like a takeaway but loads cheaper. I cried when that shop went away!

lovemyhorsesxo · 02/08/2018 20:47

Mars delights,wonka bars spam sandwiches

AnExcellentUsername · 02/08/2018 20:50

I was thinking about Sara Lee chocolate gateaux the other day and wondered if you could still get it...

I mourn pizza and doner kebab flavour pot noodles every day. The foods of my teens!

MrsICantSayMyName · 02/08/2018 20:50

@HollyGibney I remember bacon grill they still do it now.

HollyGibney · 02/08/2018 20:55

Balisto chocolate bars (don’t miss the advert for them though). No one I know remembers them.

You can still get these in Germany. I used to live there and had the green one almost daily. I went for a city break to Berlin a few years ago and I pretty much stepped off the plane and into a shop, bought one and ate it immediately. There used to be three varieties. A green pack and orange pack and possibly a brown pack. The green was muesli I think and 100% the best.

HollyGibney · 02/08/2018 20:56

Two posts saying you can get Bacon Grill! Where?!

MissLadyM · 02/08/2018 20:57

I love these threads!

Cabana bars
Secret bars
Gypsy cream biscuits
Starturn ( frozen mousse)
Banjo ( the red was dark chocolate)
Coconut boost
Old Jamaica chocolate
Funny Feet lollies
Blitz chocolate ( orange & mint)

Just for starters!

holidaylady · 02/08/2018 20:58

For people hankering after proper Cadbury chocolate, try one of the bars that's still made in Cadbury Dublin.
Flake, twirl (I think wispa)

And sold only 'down south' are the full range of Cadburys in the Irish recipe. They are all yummy and so much better than the UK chocolate.

Bring back snack bar!

Ostagazuzulum · 02/08/2018 21:03

Not from my childhood but what happened to black currant Jaffa cakes??? Still live in hope they'll bring them back!

AdaColeman · 02/08/2018 21:06

Gypsy tart, a school lunch delight!

Callard & Bowser butterscotch and nougat

AdaColeman · 02/08/2018 21:09

Entenmanns cakes were great for coffee mornings/scout teas type of events.

ProfessorMoody · 02/08/2018 21:09

I bought a Funny Feet lolly for DS the other day. Really can't remember where though!

wheresyourheadatt · 02/08/2018 21:12

Salt n vinegar bugles, Harry Potter sherbet lemons, M&S mouse chocolate sponge cake.

EdisonLightBulb · 02/08/2018 21:15

The only thing I have seen on this thread that I miss has been mentioned twice.

Old Jamaica chocolate. They brought it back briefly about your years ago then stopped it again. It was the best!
