To think it's not hot at all

I'm here in a blanket in the south west in a 3 story Edwardian and it's cloudy.

I've felt other heatwaves but this one doesn't even register tbh

I've been in West Yorkshire for the best part of this week working, it was hot, but then I got back home to the South East on Thursday and my god it was unbearable. I hadn't realised before just how much difference 7/8 degrees and the humidity level made

But not the whole of the UK as people seem to be saying.

Bit tired of people moaning about the hot weather.presumably they are the same ones who will be whining about the cold weather in a few months time. I am loving it. And shall rue it's inevitable passing.

Again, no. This entire thread has been based on people saying ‘some parts of the UK are unusually hot’ in response to OP’s nonsense.

Well no. Because (a) I don’t burn in winter and (b) in winter I have no worries about friends having to be evacuated due to fires.

The latter is extreme obviously. But in short I enjoy spring, autumn and winter.

I love Brisbane @JassyRadlett, I am from Nth Qld & only had aircon in living room. So we used to camp in there! But as you know air con is expensive to run we had to save it for nights when he was high 30's! I don't think I can cope with humidity any more!

No BigChair, you will be the one moaning about the cold weather. I will be loving it.

However if others don't like the cold weather, or if it makes life difficult for them, I won't be chastising them for it.

I'm at a concert in Cardiff ATM and its cold (got my pacamac on!) and Is raining now and then
