Just that really. I obviously don’t buy the magazines that must print all the insider gossip. From what I’ve seen of her I’ve liked, and felt some sympathy for her. Am I wrong?

Her awful family certainly is, she seems rather well likes from sources I read.

I like her and so do most people, I think.

On here certainly she's more popular than Kate. She's very well liked for someone in her position.

I’ve never heard that either, only read/heard nice things about her.

She is divorced. She isn't white. She is American. She comes from a mad family on her father's side.

People forget that Kate was hounded in the press as well - her family were made fun of for being common, and she was called a social climber and a gold digger. Not to mention all that awful 'waity katie' shite. But because she's good at her job she is now loved and adored - and all of that venom has been transferred to Meghan. Many people think that because she's an actress, divorced, and mixed race she could never be a 'suitable' royal spouse.

People have funny notions about the royals, and a weirdly proprietorial sense of ownership or control.

And to PPs who haven't seen the hatred, you obviously missed the 3628474 threads at the time of the wedding absolutely tearing into her! It was pretty grim.

I don't know anyone who doesn't either like her or is indifferent.

I think I did miss those threads, @wellBeehivedWoman. How mean some people are. She seems nice and I don't give a monkeys about her family or her heritage. I like her and she and Harry seem to be happy.
Same with William and Kate. At least they seem to be happy.

Meghan will be liked and disliked in equal measures I guess. Good and bad people in this world. Racists never will like her obviously so I hope they never get anywhere near her and if they do, that they're dealt with accordingly.

The press have a lot to answer for in terms of what image of Meghan they wanted to plant in peoples' minds.

For my sins I quite like Royal instagrams, where actally there is a quite a body of "fans" that dont like her but it boils down to her being the fact Shes nothing like Katherine or Diana especially DIANA seems to be the issue on the Royal fans instagram accounts.

These fans howsver are fairly clueless, for instance George should be in long trousers, i even had a "debate" witb one cos apparently cos charlotte is alaways in the same style dress and faily odten blue this apparently means Katherine wanted a boy, cos she doesnt dress charlotte pretty enough.

And theres the often repeated vile line of coments towards camila and that either the Queen or prince Philip killed Diana. Rather forgetting that Henry Paul was drunk and as high as fucking spaceship and the paperatizi were driving like CUNTS and even a sober driver would have struggled to deal with them..

So basically if your diana your a princess if your katherine your just about acceotable if your meghan or camila your dirt.

Wasn't overkeen on Meghan but she has grown on me, a little and , though I will never afford them, I love some of her dresses I have seen photos of , especially the worn on a trip to Dublin I think it was.

Her family however ,what a train wreck .

I like her she seems a bit out if her depth sometimes kind of makes her human and she seems a good match for Harry more down to earth like him
