Costa or Starbucks

Sat in Costa today inspired by the mcds thread thinking how much I prefer Starbucks but it's more expensive and Costa has a better loyalty scheme

Costa. Starbucks always have lukewarm drinks where I am drives me mad!

Nero. I don't drink coffee but their Hot choc is better and pastries better too.

Neros. Im sure its a bit stronger.

Costa or Nero. I avoid Starbucks.

Starbucks, because I worked for them for nearly ten years. One of the best employers I've had.
But I really don't mind a Pret these days either.

I like them both but Starbucks.

Though they are both expensive as shit!

Costa for coffee.

Starbucks for frapps

Costa iced drinks are never as cold as Starbucks, so def SB in this weather unless I fancy a Mango smoothie.

I'm actually store loyal, SB in one town and C in another because I like the store / staff / location. DH prefers C but I'd vote SB if I could pick only one

Costa are stingy with everything and their drinks are usually lukewarm.

I am reading with envy and interest as designer coffee is currently not in the budget.

Costa for me their coffee is much better than Starbucks.

Neither pay their taxes as they should so don’t use either. Even if they did pay tax their products are expensive and awful. Only been in in past when meeting a client - would never go in otherwise - and client paid

Costa really, although when Starbucks crack open the pumpkin spice and eggnog varieties there’s no contest.
However a local company recently opened and they’re knocking them both out the park (Myrtle for coffee fans)

I save up my free SB drink for when I'm toddler free and have the biggest one with all the trimmings

Costa has gone downhill had some awful drimks in thete recently. They gave also started adding stevia to their lemonades etc i have a enough points for a free coffee but cant even be bothered to go and use them

Starbucks for mochas, frappacinnos, xmas coffees such as gingerbread and toffee nut.

Costa do the better flat white. And also better sandwiches/panini.

Costa, out of those two. I drink Americanos and the coffee tastes so much nicer in Costa.

If I'm in Birmingham or Manchester though I head for Second Cup. Lovely coffee, staff are always friendly and the cakes are amazing!

Costa in the summer - cold drinks are way better than Starbucks!!

Starbucks in the winter - Toffee Nut Latte is heaven in a Christmas cup

Preferably neither but Costa at a pinch - I loathe Starbucks dishwater masquerading as coffee. I drink my coffee black, though, so maybe have a different perspective.

Costa is good for meetings but not fab for coffee whilst Starbucks is better if I am on my own and they make my coffee just as I want it.

Although, the new Starbucks cheesecake frap are hell in a cup! Honestly they’re hideous

And it really annoys me that you can’t get a large iced coffee in Costa, just a small or medium

My current go to Starbucks drink is a skinny caramel latte over ice 🤤
