There's some really funny people on here and some stuff has me smiling for days. One I read recently was about the names small children called their parents instead of Mummy and Daddy. One poster wrote that her DC called her DH "Daddy" and called her "Not Daddy" - still makes me smile.

@WeirdScenesInsideTheGoldmine am genuinely crying at "curls one out into the bin"

TheOxymoron · 03/07/2018 17:28

Snapped and farted. Grin

rockcakesrock · 03/07/2018 17:28

The religious fridge was my absolute favourite. Most recently the AMA for the MNetter who is a snail

ALongHardWinter · 03/07/2018 17:29

Where do I start? There are so many! The recent one that springs to mind is the 'I snapped and farted' one. That one just cracked me up,I kept thinking about it for hours after and smiling to myself. Grin

DwangelaForever · 03/07/2018 17:29

The woman who wailed at the cistine chapel.

The guy who was sexting her bf and he sent her a few photos of his bum hole 😂😂 the angle the photo was taken at really got me lol

And obvs snapped and farted!

(I should say I'm relatively new only been posting for about a year so I've missed out on some classics)

LanguidLobster · 03/07/2018 17:30

Where's the urinating on a chair one? I haven't read that

ChristmasTablecloth · 03/07/2018 17:30

Threadworm's dead guinea pig eulogy thread.

SenecaFalls · 03/07/2018 17:31

Yes, Mairead, To me the funniest line of all is when the OP says about her mother: "Also she has seen the Lion King already." Grin

I found the thread.

Yawning 801 'I'm pooping in'. You've started me off again! Grin

Tomatoesrock · 03/07/2018 17:33

hyacinthbuffet I only thought about that one other day, Answering her own post, was it you who commented and copped it.

EggysMom · 03/07/2018 17:33

Most recently it has to be the "I'm God AMA" thread, some of the dialogue between RealGod and RealJesus had me weeping Grin

JuneMyNameIsJune · 03/07/2018 17:34

DH once had to almost resuscitate me after reading part of a thread about Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs), cycling (on his face) and yellow jerseys. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.

FayKnights · 03/07/2018 17:39

Angela Hernandez - it’s from an old thread but absolutely cracked me up. Hopefully others will remember it!
I’ll see if I can find it.

ACatsNoHelpWithThat · 03/07/2018 17:40

A few years ago there was a thread called bum sex and wind - someone replied with "Didn't they sing Boogie Wonderland?" I still smile every time that song comes on the radio.

ALongHardWinter · 03/07/2018 17:41

Just remembered the thread about magazines such as Take a Break and Chat. There were some hilarious posts about the 'Handy Hints' (slippers made out of sanitary towels, anyone? Grin ) and the fiction in these magazines. Kept me amused for days. I think it's in classics now.

TheFirstMrsOsmond · 03/07/2018 17:46

Someone has mentioned the witty one-liners....
One of the first threads I ever read was from a woman who was discombobulated because the man she had just started dating cut her pubic hair (with her permission) but then ate it. The humorous comments which followed convinced me it was worth joining up

KalindaBlack · 03/07/2018 17:48

The first thread I read, it was Valentine's Day and the OP's DH wanted to take her up the Oxo tower. I'd ever heard of it so googled. I'm also very naive so DH had to explain it to me when I said about it later Blush

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 03/07/2018 17:49

MaireadMacSweeney the Worra comment is hilarious Grin

CourtneyLovely · 03/07/2018 17:49

These are cheering me up at the end of a shitty day! I've only been on here for a year but I loved finding the Korean Lady in the garden.

The urinated on the chair made me giggle but I really don't know why people were so amused by snapped and farted

nicenewdusters · 03/07/2018 17:50

The thread about what was your worst job interview. Farting, falling, vomiting, trousers falling down, I just cried with laughter.

The poster (possibly LyingWitchAndWardrobe?) who was trying to reach forward sexily in a shop to impress her secret crush and fell arse over t*t in front of him.

A thread where the OP's phone wasn't working properly. It didn't start off to be funny, but her reactions and comments and those of other posters were so quick and clever. She'd accidentally post a sentence 20 times and a poster would say something like sorry, could you repeat that, didn't quite get it.

Hugoglencoco Grin

ALongHardWinter · 03/07/2018 18:05

Does anyone remember the one about the OP looking after her NDN's goldfish while she was on holiday, and she thought they'd gone missing? The responses were hilarious.

Rugbycomet · 03/07/2018 18:06

The Hugo thread was hilarious...just re-read it and still laughing

alltoomuchrightnow · 03/07/2018 18:07

all the Take A Break posts and definitely Elderly Korean Lady
