There's some really funny people on here and some stuff has me smiling for days. One I read recently was about the names small children called their parents instead of Mummy and Daddy. One poster wrote that her DC called her DH "Daddy" and called her "Not Daddy" - still makes me smile.

The 'shitting man' story (part 1, not part 2 which is awful). I should not have laughed though, as the man was a disgrace and my suggestion of shopping him to the DVLA was not taken up.

eggandspoonrace · 07/07/2018 21:21

I STILL don't know the "naice ham" thread if someone could enlighten me...

foxssoxareinthebox · 07/07/2018 21:24

The booble plate which fell down the back of the toilet was awesome and also overhead on the bus.

alltoomuchrightnow · 08/07/2018 17:14

What's the Alan thread?

KingLooieCatz · 09/07/2018 13:20

I like "Name for a middle class hipster boy". Not sure we ever got to the bottom of whether the OP was serious. My faves were Fixie and Flatwhite.

buddahbelly · 13/07/2018 21:56

headspin5 oh my god that was my ex.

Im dying laughing at the thought of it again Grin Grin and he did indeed work nights in Asda, well remembered! Grin

shatnersbassoon it was me also who remembered the "Im so sorry Alan" part from your mum. I read that thread to my dp and we were on the floor laughing so much, when he farts in the house now he says, im sorry Alan Grin

GoofyIsACow · 14/07/2018 10:26

Do you remember when M&S advertised the worlds ugliest armchair for 50p mistakenly and we were all ordering them? I hurt for days after laughing at that thread Grin

AmIthatbloodycold · 14/07/2018 17:49

Buddha we do that too -so sorry Alan

I remember the line but can't remember the thread. I could do with reading it again

Although I'm laughing to myself even typing this GrinGrin

Tenpenny · 14/07/2018 19:31

Can't remember what exactly the Op was about but a poster replied with the immortal line, "its semen, not wheelie bin juice" Grin

ShatnersBassoon · 14/07/2018 22:09

when he farts in the house now he says, im sorry Alan

Yeah we do that too. One of my children said it to his (female) nursery teacher, and I had to explain when she asked me about it at home time 😂

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/07/2018 22:32

@ShatnersBassoon that's brilliant Grin

Anon12345ABC · 14/07/2018 22:44

Think it was marmaladetwatkins and her preggers and peng cuzzi threads. They were gold. Think they stayed in chat though so long gone.

Same poster also had a thread about the PTA and lemon drizzle cake.

Yes to the thread where the IT bloke came to teach us women about the internet. One response talked about how she set down her quill made me pmsl. It was done in the 3rd person too like she was narrating a story, genius.

IAmLurkacus · 14/07/2018 22:46

OMG PTA and the lemon drizzle GrinGrinGrin

I’d like a link to the Alan thred if possible.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/07/2018 22:02

I'd love to read it too!

buddahbelly · 24/07/2018 20:17

The Alan thread is the I pooed on my skirt at work today thread - unsure how to link from classics though.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 25/07/2018 22:30

Ah ok. I’ve read that one but must have missed it. Not sure I read the whole thread though.

MarmiteAndCheeseRolls · 03/07/2018 16:37

The woman stuck sat on her worktop after getting some medicine down that was up high and asking if her dp was Unreasonable for not coming home to reach them down

Sorry this is a zombie - is this thread still around? I was talking about it tonight and I am dying to re read
