To ask what your low cost luxury is?

We are trying to save money at the moment so there is little room for luxury.

I'd love to hear your low cost (or even free!) luxuries? At the moment mine are a cheap bunch of flowers and a coffee from the machine. I did buy myself some tights today but I'm not sure you can call that a luxury...

How do you treat yourself?

I literally ran into these today at Waitrose. They are absolutely delicious. They also come in fruit flavors, dark chocolate, milk chocolate etc.

A perfectly ripe Mango

stayathomer · 28/05/2018 23:20

Boots have a tea tree peppermint foot spray that's about two quid. Spray on and put feet up! That, pjs from the drier or radiator and a sachet of Aussie three minute miracle for my hair with guilt free tv and a bounty bar!!!

stayathomer · 28/05/2018 23:21

Oh and for food it's tuna or grapes!!!

Has to be once a month when me and DH have an Indian take away and watch a really good film on Netflix. May have a little glass of wine to go with it snuggled up with a big blanket.

Freshly washed bedding

Hot buttered toast with proper butter. Even better if someone else has made it.

Yes, yes, yes to all the PPs who suggested ebooks from the library.

Just downloaded a couple, having a glass of prosecco in my PJs and relaxing Gin.

YoThePussy · 02/06/2018 22:52

Cafetière of ‘proper’ coffee and sitting in the garden in the sunshine slowly drinking it all.

liz70 · 02/06/2018 22:53

Asda's SmartPrice German milk chocolate is lush, and only 30p for a 100g bar. Don't be fooled by labels - it really is lovely.

Paleshelter · 02/06/2018 23:01

Currently drinking Priogrigio- like prosecco but cheaper- £4.50 in Asda. I can't tell the difference! Also love getting a good charity shop find- got a lovely top recently, it's from Next and was only £3.50. Aldi have a dark chocolate and orange bar which is delicious.

lauralyanny · 02/06/2018 23:04

Gin! Shaved legs coupled with clean bed sheets, and DARE I SAY IT..... a wank

Bar of galaxy

Hot bath
Proper pot of tea and nice mug, sit in the garden
New plant form garden centre...esp. the reduced ones that soon perk up one evening they are tucked in the garden somewhere happily
Really nice handcream
Take sketchbook and paints in garden and paint flowers or grass (I’m totally talent-free but a bit of washy watercolour is very therapeutic, buy supplies from The Works of the poundshop)
Crochet by the fire watching trashy tv
