There is a strange car parked in front of my house

Literally facing into my lounge, my private parking area not on street. I’ve no idea who it belongs too, must’ve arrived whilst I was putting the baby to bed so in the last 15 minutes. Doesn’t belong to any of my neighbours that I’m aware of (been here a long time, know most of them well). I think it’s cheeky to leave your car on a random parking spot or Aibu?

If it’s your privately owned parking space how could
It not be cheeky?

Opheliah · 26/05/2018 19:42

They probably don't realise it's a private drive. If it looks a bit like a road.

yawning801 · 26/05/2018 19:42

Do you have a golf club near you, OP? Grin

Ginkypig · 26/05/2018 19:44

Or a riding hat?

Ownerofalittlechimp · 26/05/2018 19:44

Definitely doesn’t look like a road Ophelia, definitely private drive to front of my house, similar to the others on my very suburban estate.

No yawning, not seen the other thread, off to check it out now though!

Oh, it’s not a white polo is it 😂😂

UrsulaPandress · 26/05/2018 19:46

Did a nice doctor live in your house previously?

Ginkypig · 26/05/2018 19:46

On a serious note though is it in your designated spot or just in the spot you normally use?

If it's the second one then it's not actually yours so you'll just have to wait until they go while silently seething

PanPanPanPing · 26/05/2018 19:46

You need a Penguin Bollard!

Ginkypig · 26/05/2018 19:47

Sorry crosspost. As the other thread said penguin bollard will stop future cf's!

Madratlady · 26/05/2018 19:49

Come on, you know about 100 posters will be along telling you to block it in so off you go, move your car/OH's car/nice friend or neighbour's car to block it in 😂

Ohmylord59789234 · 26/05/2018 19:49

We need a diagram...

onalongsabbatical · 26/05/2018 19:52

Pool? Pimms? Where am I? I feel mysteriously like I just teleported in from another thread! Grin

Ownerofalittlechimp · 26/05/2018 19:53

I’m working on a diagram now, I know the rules 😆

Yeah, go out, then block them in when you get back.

UnimaginativeUsername · 26/05/2018 20:15

Park your DH’s car on the road, blocking it in.

MountainHedgehog · 26/05/2018 20:15

CF. You have to park in the pavement and block them in. It’s MN law

onalongsabbatical · 26/05/2018 20:16

Colours are fine. But what do the pink diagonals designate exactly, is it all hardcore parking? If not, why's the dropped kerb not aligned with the parking area?

Theweasleytwins · 26/05/2018 20:16

Do you have anyone willing to read a book outside to keep an eye on the car?

Supermagicsmile · 26/05/2018 20:17

Go and block them in!!!

EddieTheBeagle · 26/05/2018 20:17

A CF placemark Grin
