Jeez - trying not to get involved in royal wedding chaos - but this is such a no brainer! Surely her Mum should give her away? Or are they all racist misogynistic traditionalists?

I think it's super sad she even has to make this decision because the press scared off her dad. Especially after what happened to her would have been mother in law

I'm not really surprised her mother doesn't want to do it. It would be pretty overwhelming.

The father of the groom doesn't seem like quite the right choice. It's a shame she doesn't have a single relative in the world who could do this for her.

People in here spend half their time telling others it's their wedding they should do it their way.

I don't think it's anybodys business what someone else chooses to do at their wedding, whoever the people getting married are.

She can't do a single thing right can she? Maybe she didn't want to have her mother Do it, maybe her mother didn't want to do it?

It goes against protocol as it should be someone on her side "giving her away".
But "giving her away" is such an outdated gesture that I hope "walking her up the aisle" replaces it.

Maybe Meghan and her mother feels like Prince Charles giving her away makes her feel completely included in the new family , and that's it's a lovely thing to do. Maybe they are not "them" against "Us" the way you want them to be.
