I walked into m&s this afternoon with my children in tow, I got what I needed and was walking past the lingerie and thought I'd grab a pack of nultipack cotton bikini knickers.
i obviously hadn't paid attention as when I got home I realised I'd picked up full briefs instead of bikins.
They are massive and yet i don't want to return them as they look so bloody comfy, would I be unreasonable to keep them and wear them?
DH would look at me say what the actual f are you wearing however he is a little too fond of his loose greying boxers that he keeps wearing so often so he can't talk.

Full briefs = Full comfort. Why settle for anything less?

seven201 · 22/03/2018 12:32

I had them after c-section. I was so sad when I packed them away but they are very unsexy

starkid · 22/03/2018 13:42

I love wearing mens trunks :) less panty-line dangers

WatchoutDSisdriving · 22/03/2018 16:33

I have to say having given them a trial all day so far, the bamboo ones are very comfy to wear, thanks affectionincoldclimate

teaiseverything · 22/03/2018 16:41

I now exclusively wear only big knickers cos they keep my tens machine pads on. Embrace the big knickers.

Oblomov18 · 22/03/2018 17:01

M&S bikini are actually quite big. And very comfy. They are my default of choice.

Branleuse · 22/03/2018 17:51

@JaneJeffer john lewis bikini knickers have pretty good arse coverage, as do M&S midi
Both of these im talking about the standard multipack. I dont know about all their frilly singular ones

JaneJeffer · 22/03/2018 22:44

Thanks Branleuse

fourfuckssake4 · 22/03/2018 22:53

I love my big pants, so comfy. Wish I could find a bra to match Grin

HildaZelda · 22/03/2018 22:54

I have to go against the grain here I'm afraid and say I hate big knickers. I remember my mother wearing them when I was a kid. They were the most horrible looking things ever and I swore it was something I would never do. I haven't. Thongs all the way.

Lilyhatesjaz · 22/03/2018 23:00

I like m and S high leg, they go up to the belly button but are not so tight around the legs.

dirtyprettything · 23/03/2018 10:19

The post c section big pant society has many members, we have a secret handshake and everything

Jappydooda · 23/03/2018 10:58

Last time I was in hospital, the nurse made a comment about how nice it was to see me pull out a pair white big pants instead of flimsy bits of cloth! She even commented on how lovely and white they were!

I like my big pants!

BlancheM · 23/03/2018 11:08

Big up the big pants! I bought some full briefs for my last pregnancy and I won't part with them. I even buy knickers about two sizes two big. My ideal pants would probably come up to my armpits.

laddylonglocks · 23/03/2018 11:43

Why would this be unreasonable!? I've been wearing them since I was a teen Grin

Badwifey · 23/03/2018 11:52

Boy am I glad I came across this thread! I've been wearing them for 4 years since I was pregnant. I've tried and failed many times to wear smaller pants again. I'm so glad I'm not alone! Big pants rule!!

affectionincoldclimate · 23/03/2018 12:04

@WatchoutDSisdriving woo hoo! My pleasure. Very pleased they are bringing you comfort. I also got their tshirts as pyjamas - again just another level of comfort. I get men's sizes L so they are nice and roomy! Bamboo fibre is a game changer. Grin

HippyChickMama · 23/03/2018 12:09

I love big knickers, I like to feel like everything's covered! I may have only just thrown out my Mothercare maternity knickers (over bump with lower back support), youngest is 4.5 Blush

oohyoudevilyou · 23/03/2018 13:17

I tell DH mine are my period knickers. And then I forget I don't have my period and put them on anyway Grin. He makes token complaints about big unsexy undies, but it never puts him off trying for a shag even if I deliberately wear them on as a deterrent

DeadButDelicious · 23/03/2018 13:29

I wear nothing but black m&s big knickers. They are comfy and stay put, no rolling down or creeping up. Perfect. DH doesn't care, he lovingly informed me that it's what's inside my knickers that he's interested in. Which I am choosing to take as a compliment. Grin

SnowiestMountain · 23/03/2018 13:31

I got some massive knickers to wear post c section with DD, I'm an absolute convert and still in them, she's almost 5!!

DailyMailFail101 · 23/03/2018 14:25

I love big knickers, in the winter I even tuck a vest into them , so warm and comfortable 😊 beware once you try there’s no going back!

2018SoFarSoGreat · 23/03/2018 16:39

I went directly from the smallest of thongs to the biggest of big pants. No going back is so true! Only problem is my mother has exactly the same ones (:() and it is always a dilemma when I stay over and she does the wash.

Praise be to the big pants.

liquidrevolution · 23/03/2018 17:53

My entire tum is sensitive since c section. It's nearly 4 years and hasn't gone back to normal. Small pants just rub and make me uncomfortable.

Big pants all the way!

noeffingidea · 23/03/2018 18:59

Another wearer of big knickers here (black ones for me).
I will never go back either. Its the same feeling as wearing flat shoes, leggings and bras without wires. Just comfort, nothing else.
